Knife Sharpener with 3 Stage Sharpening Wheel System to Sharpen Dull Knives

I recently purchased the knife sharpener and I have not had a single problem with it thus far. The thing is light but well built and does not slide around when you are sharpening the knife; you don't have to apply very much pressure to keep it from moving around, either. I tested the sharpener out with some of my kitchen knives and it worked pretty well without having to grind at the sharpener too long. .

I followed all the directions with this sharpener and it actually made my knives more dull. Very disappointed and even worried that it may have damaged my more expensive Wusthof chef's knife.

This comes assembled as shown in their pictures and mine. So you can start using it right away. They sent this as a review sample but I did put it to the test. As they state, this is not for serrated knives. Period, end of discussion. Most knives people have in the drawers, including steak knives are serrated. But be aware of that.The handle was nice and it sat flat on the counter for added stability. The bottom was removable to clean out the shavings over time. The slots are well labeled for you to make sure you use it progressively.The cost is inline with other manual sharpeners that offer stages to make it easier. Instead of a rod, stone or other choices this is made for quick pulls (pull only) through each well labeled slot to sharpen the knife. I tested on two and got the same result. Not as awesome as a rod or stone but did well. I definitely could tell the difference before I used the sharpener.Make sure you pull only, follow the stages and do not use serrated knives in this. It did a fine quick job otherwise.

Top quality product and not cheaply built. Works as advertised and with ergonomic handle that is easy to use. Sharpens quickly and perfectly. My wife is now a happy camper; all the knives in the kitchen are in a new condition again.

I received this sharpener in exchange for an honest review.Upon receiving this sharpener I tested it on my daily kitchen paring knife and a larger chef's knife. I followed the instructions and pulled the blades through a couple of times in each slot. It did sharpen my knives a bit, but not quite as much as I would like. On one knife it seemed to mess up the sharp edge a bit. With a couple more swipes of the paring knife it was in pretty good shape for my kitchen use.I also allowed a good friend to test as he loves cooking as well and takes good care of his knives. He felt it was a decent sharpener but he does like his rod better.Overall, I will definitely use this on my day to day knives, but I may hesitate to try it on any expensive blades since it made one of mine a bit jagged in a spot.

This knife sharpener works great! Definitely a worthwhile purchase; made all the knives in my kitchen better than new. The product works exactly as advertised and is very high quality/solidly built. Package arrived quickly.
