Flexcut Roughing Knife.

I am a broom maker and use this knife constantly. It’s fits the hand well, so it’s great for removing bark, smoothing out knots, cutting the cord when I’m tying the brooms. The fit in my hand is so good that it’s more of an extension of my hand. It’s also good for carving designs in the broomsticks. Nice clean cuts. This roughing knife so good, I bought a second one for my car toolbox. It comes in really handy when on the road and when I’m out walking through the wood looking for sticks. It’s a dandy little blade.

Super sharp blade, carves through oak like a stick of frozen butter. Very comfy handle. My first carving blade, will buy more from them

The metallurgy of the blades on these knife's is perfectfor my carving needs. Grip design is nice finish is a little slick.

This is very sharp right out of the package.works great I don't recommend it for young children overall great control.

Nice knife but don’t care for the type of grind that has, I prefer occ style carving knives and there prices are better

I have never had a roughing knife and I am working on a carving where I need a long straight blade, this knife fit my needs to a "T"! Razor sharp out of the package great feel in the hand and it is doing what I want. I also learned another way to keep Flexcut knives sharp - great but!

I'm very happy with the Flexcut products. I have this knife, a general carving knife, and a detail knife. All have more than lived up to their billing.
