A great centerpiece!
We bought this to upgrade from a cheap stand that we had for over a decade. I chose this stand for the sound bar opening and the doors. I would say it's about 70 percent solid hardwood. The top, the legs, and the doors are solid while the rest is standard MDF.People saying it wasn't sturdy probably didn't fully lock the cam screws when they assembled the pieces. The screws need to turn 180 degrees to fully lock. Some will stop at about 90 degrees, but you need to turn them the rest of the way to lock. With all the screws fully locked this stand is solid. The doors can be difficult if you don't have an extra set of hands to help you hold them. Also, don't be afraid to adjust the hinges after the doors are installed. Each hinge has 2 screws to adjust it properly.I also liked how the backing is set in channels within the pieces of the stand. Our old stand had the backing tacked in place with tiny nails, this stand is much better.Lastly, cord management is great. I hid a power strip in the bottom middle opening. I ran all the wires to the bottom and placed some books in front of the power strip. Everything is neat and tucked away. No wires dangling in the back or touching the floor.I would definitely recommend this stand. Take your time with assembly. It helps to have an extra set of hands. Lock all the cam screws and this stand will be rock solid.

very nice and practical, very slow delivery
Got this to set 65" TV on in our front room. It is little more 'formal' looking. It is solid quality material. Nice hinges. 1 of the screws on the door hinge is stripped. Hoping this does not become an issue. Also, couple of the screws on the support beam under the surface top did not screw all the way in? I applied plenty of torque. Doors seems to sit nice and flush. Shelves do NOT adjust but you can remove center shelf. Nice to have the upper/ top shelf to set long soundbar on. Would recommend/ buy again but pricing is little rich. Delivery was way too slow. 4 days late.

Very nice for the price
Box had a few dents but packaging kept pieces unharmed. The picture instructions take a little time to interpret, but we figured it out. All the parts were there and well marked, and all the predrilled holes were in the right place. I decided to use different knobs to match my kitchen cabinets and island. I wanted black but it was sold out, so went with the dark brown. It is a nice color that goes with everything. The unit is higher than most, which is great because we did not want to wall mount tv and did not want it to sit low. It has space for sound bar, three components, holes for wires are convenient, storage on both sides, sits up off floor so no problem that there is a floor vent under it. All in all, very pleased, especially for the price!

Good value, plenty of storage, solid build.
The cabinet came packed in 1 100 lbs box that will need 2 people to bring inside. How the UPS guy got it to my door at 9 at night, I dont know. The cabinet only requires a Philips screwdriver to assemble, a plus if you have very few tools. The instructions are clear about 90% of the time. There was only 1 time that the instructions didn't make sense. That was followed by trying to install the back panel. That may have been the worse part of the build. Personally, it should have been 1 piece, not three smaller panels. In the end, I'm happy with the cabinet. It hold my 50" tv with out looking too big. I have 2 game console and a cable box on the main shelve. I still have plenty of storage for more games, accessories or other. The height is good if you want to avoid mounting to wall and want plenty of storage.

Flawed but in the end looks nice
The unit is made mostly from hardwood and is sturdy. The price seemed right for the product. Was mostly easy to assemble with a few glitches along the way like pieces not always lining up right. There was some damage to the lower panel on the bottom where some of the support blocks were split (pre-attached) which we had to glue, clamp, drill and insert new screws; and one of the side leg panels was not level across the connecting top edge and had to be sanded down. There were a number of flaws in the woodwork and in the staining but none were obvious in the finished product (most on the back sides parts or in side of cabinets). There was a label applied to the upside of the top panel and it was difficult to remove the label and the residual glue. All in all the color of the unit works well with the room and the area rug so it does look nice just as long as you don't go looking, too, close.

Great quality & style. Fantastic price. Easy assembly.
Received my beautiful Phoenix Home TV media stand very fast. Excellent packaging. Very easy to understand and follow assembly instructions. Did the assembly all by myself in about 4 hours. I would recommend having a second person available to help assemble the TV stand. That would cut the total assembly time to 2-3 hours at most. Fantastic solid wood , great classic dark brown color, went extremely well with my existing furniture. Great price and quality.

Broken piece of garbage
So the item is delivered, the box is essentially in tatters, but the styrofoam is still in place. However, due to the box damage I cannot ship the item back. Several pieces are damaged, one shelf with a real nasty split, but it's not at a visible part at least, but several of the other pieces have chips and dings in them.Since I can't ship it back I decided to assmble it; not overly difficult assembly but there is a point when you basically put the top/bottom/middle together all at once in the most awkward and difficult way possible, rest of it is easy. The entire piece is literally held together with a handful of cam screws, so it's not sturdy at all when moved as the cams shift ever so slightly. If you assemble it once and never ever move it, should be sturdy enough, but I assembled it in another room and had to move it and now it's wobbly as can be. The dings will NEVER be repairable because this is the cheapest MDF possible that blows apart, you won't be able to do scratch pens or anything like that should you ever get a ding in it. All of this would be understandable for furniture that costs under $200, but at this price, while not expecting high-end solid wood, definitely should get more bang for your buck. Don't confuse weight with strength or sturdieness, the hardware is far more important and this uses garbage hardware and cheesy cams at the most important load-bearing sections.
