Type 1 Diabetic gift
My recently diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic ten-year-old loved this. It is just a little different than what I thought, but I like it the same. The difference? I thought the little piece of insulin was attachable on the outside and also stuffed. But instead is is a plastic piece of insulin that is inside the little zipper pouch. It seems to be of very good quality including the insulin. With it I also purchased the E.coli for his geeky older brother (my research monster). So now they have the old way insulin was made inside his body and the new way that his insulin is made in a lab (rDNA/Recombinant DNA).

This was bought for my son who is a Type 1 Diabetic. He loves it and I love the fact the tag on it is informative and accurate. Our favorite part it the insulin inside. My son thought it was the best gift ever.

My brother in law is a type 1 diabetic. He's fairly open about it with the family so we joked that for Christmas we got him a cure for diabetes!
