I think the other reviewers must have bought a different product to me. I wasn't expecting miracles from this machine but I had hoped that I would feel a little cooling effect. I filled the chamber with ice and water and it was no more effective than a small fan. I even held a thermometer in the path of the mist generated and it didn't even drop 1 degree.As well as that it ran out of water in less than 2 hours. The power light flashed red when the power was off which was annoying. And it was loud. I'm not averse to some white noise at night but when on full it was hard to sleep.

Bought it in the recent 38c heatwave. it definitely won't cool down an entire room like advertised and won't really be able to achieve much in such high temperatures. The main relief is by having it pretty much directly next to you.I've been filling mine with ice and refrigerated water and it lasts about 3-4 hours on max power before needing to be refilled.I've now got it on me while it is 23c and it is providing much better relief now. Expect to get slightly damp as it condenses on your skin or your bedding but I'm definitely going to keep this around for warm days and I would recommend it for the price.It's a sturdily built bit of kit while still being nice and light for moving it around.

Best small portable air condition i found.Great for hot summer to cool personal and sleeping at night. Blows cold mist which lowers the temp in a big room by 2 C. Small room works really well.Great thing it has a refrigerator button which the device cools the water but i add 8 ice cubes and cold water to make more effect.I just wish it had a larger water tank and double big fans, two mist outlets instead of one and taller so it will be a great AC portable product.

Ideal for UK households! As we me know, air con is far too expensive to install and use in most homes, due to the lack of use it will actually get. However, little units like this are perfect to use in the bedroom on hot nights. I find when it's on, its quiet enough to still get to sleep at night and not be woken up by it. Electrical usage is small as well. Money well spent

It does cool a bit and is quite pleasant on warm days. I did find that on the really hot days we had recently it didn't do nearly enough and I ended up biting the bullet and invested in Air Conditioning instead which does the job! For the money though, it's a good product and the mist coming out makes a cool smoking effect which I like.

cools down quick, very good quality, only bad thing is the tray for the water is attached to the machine, and the inside gets dirty easy, hard to clean

Shame I can’t leave lower than one star review. Just a small -low powered fan, does not cool in any way. Do not recommend!
