We had been looking for this style shade for a while, but were put-off by the $600+ price per shade (more than $6,000 to cover 8 windows.) These are fantastic for the price and look beautiful when they are hung.I made multiple orders to the company before placing a large order. Learn from my mistakes and save yourself some $ in shipping costs:1. "Ivory" is a very pale yellow (we hated this color and ended up throwing the shade (and the $100 it cost us) in the trash because it was unusable in our house.)2. "White" is a soft white (Beautiful! Exactly what we would have expected an ivory to look like.)3. The company is great at cutting down to the correct width - don't try to do this yourself, make sure you tell them how wide the blinds need to be and they will be made perfectly.4. The company is not so great at cutting to the correct length. We asked them to shorten a blind, which was not done. We also asked them to make two blinds longer, that was not done either (they are only a couple of inches too short, so we are going to live with it, but I am disappointed that they were not made properly - this is the reason I took a star away from their rating.)5. These blinds MUST be the appropriate length for them to work properly (ie. you have to open/unroll them completely in order to angle the "slats" - if they are too long for your window you will have a puddle/trail of blind hanging below the sill.)6. These blinds are EASY to cut to the correct length - see learning numbers 4 and 5. I have ordered 22 blinds (not counting the ugly yellow one) and have cut/customized 20 of them to the appropriate length for my windows. All you need is a staple remover, scissors, and a stapler. Even the chain is easy to shorten - only scissors needed. Super easy and guaranteed to be the right length for your windows.I would definitely recommend purchasing these blinds - keeping in mind that they can be made narrower (by the seller) or shorter (by you), but NOT longer.

I must say - these blinds are GREAT!Received them yesterday (be aware, FedEx/shipper requires a signature). Made plans to spend the entire morning putting two of these up - and it took me all of 10 minutes! They fit perfectly, and as opposed to spending nearly $1500 at Home Depot/Lowes, these were made for $175 each!I couldn't ask for better - and I just went and measured a bedroom window and am going to order the same blinds for that room.No need to be 'concerned' when ordering these - as long as you measure correctly (as they instruct) you will be quite pleased I think.

I love the way these shades updated my whole room! The arrived very quickly, and after following advice from another reviewer, we ordered the white and cut the length ourselves. The color is a perfect off white. The length would probably have been correct if ordered directly from windward. The product is amazing for the price!

WOW, I love these blinds. Shopping in home improvement stores these are like 500.00 each. They look awesome, easy to install. I had them custom cut and the size is exactly perfect. Quick shipment and well packed. I only did two windows to see if I liked them, will definitely order more!
