2 different companies, totally different results
I purchased both findmypetdna kit and wisdom panel kit and both came back totally different. I would love an explaination as to how that happens.

Seems to be a waste
If I could give zero stars, I would. We bought this kit, hoping to rule in or rule out pug as part of our dog's breed. We got her from a shelter and wanted to be sure what we're workI with. We purposely did not specify which breed(s) we thought she is, as we wanted a true blind test. Well, our results just came back and it says our dog is made up of four breeds, each ranging 30-70 pounds. Our full grown dog is 10 pounds, so clearly something is amiss. Will give them the chance to retest as there must have been a mix-up, but otherwise a waste of money.

Great Product! 2nd test
This is the second test I purchased from this company. I was happy with my original results, and when this new version came out at a lower price, I decided to test our new rescue. I haven't received my results yet, but based on past experience I am confident everything will be fine. They also have top level customer service, and apparently everything is now made completely in the USA which is a bonus.

My dogs DNA report said she was St. Bernard ...
My dogs DNA report said she was St. Bernard, Doberman, and Shar Pei. She is 15lbs., short haired, and maybe 12" tall. Maybe my result would have been more accurate if I had sent a picture of her, as requested. Save your money and make it up yourself.

Great and Fun Product!
We got our dog as a rescue four years ago and ever since then we've been wondering exactly what he is. The shelter we got him from just had him listed as Havanese mix , he is actually Maltese, ShihTzu, Cairn, Who would have thunk it ☺The DNA kit arrived in a timely manner, and doing the test could not be any easier. The instructions are good, and mailing the sample back is also very convenient. You just put the included shipping label on the outside of the original box and give it to the mail.We believe that these results are accurate and it's so nice being able to look these dogs up and see what types of personality traits they have and also what type of health issues to look out for, so we can be proactive and not ignore or miss signs of trouble.We would recommend this test.

Don't trust it !
It's a scam. They ask what breed you think your dog is. I told them Shepherd mix . She weighs 70lbs. and has the black saddle and tan legs. They she was Lab,Australian Shepherd and Pit Bull. I sent them a picture and E- mail and of course got no reply . I done a different company and got a completely different result.

I was very anxious to find out the breeds of my fur baby. The wait was long but worth it. Expect about 3-4 weeks of processing time, plus the time it takes for the product to arrive to their lab in the mail.I purchased Wisdom Panel as well because it does a few things differently, but it was interesting to see how similar they were to each other yet different. Where Wisdom Panel seems to give the dominant and most obvious breeds in your Pet, Find My Pet DNA is almost like something you would do for a human where it digs deep and shows breeds further down the line, giving you more of a long term history of your pets ancestry.Wisdom Panel – Lab, Cur, SheppardFind My Pet DNA – Lab, Cur, Collie, PoodleIt was a lot of fun, and would recommend purchasing this kit. If you can afford it you might want to do both like I did and really get a complete profile of your pets Ancestry.

Very advanced test, the mystery of my adopted dog is over!
I adopted my dog about 5 years ago. His temperament suggests dachschund but my vet assures me that he’s a mix of either one or multiple breeds. I’ve always been curious to find out but didn’t pull the trigger getting a test until recently. I saw that this kit had great reviews and that the test was much more advanced and thorough than it’s competitors. The instructions were easy to follow. I got the test results and my dog is dachschund (as I always knew), miniature pincher and poodle! All breeds make sense now, especially the poodle part since my pooch is crazy smart. I’m very happy with this purchase.
