Acase Kindle Fire HD Case - New Kindle Fire HD 7 Inch Tablet Cover/Kindle Fire HD 7" Tablet Premium PU Leather Case with Flip Stand (Black)

Looked at several cases on Amazon and this one seem to meet my preferences .. slim, good material .. has all the cutouts needed for my KF HD 7".. puts the KF to sleep when closed .. soft velour inside lining, although there is a quarter-sized spot on the velour side that faces the front of the device that is a bit ragged/rough (not smooth) but not concerning .. nice and secure with velcro tab .. had a bit of chemical smell when arrived and removed from packaging but smell went away after a few days .. sturdy when placed in standing position .. overall very good product for the price.

Fit and Finish: 5Made from a good material, stitches held up well, openings for all the slots correctly aligned. The feel of the cover in hands feel good, with no weird odors.Price: 5In my opinion, this is the best case for the price point. There were many other cases available for a price range of $50, I just couldn't convince myself to pay 25% of the device cost for a case! Therefore all 5 stars as this case as it meets all requirements but keeps the price very affordable.I reduced the overall score to a 4, only because of two minor cons, mentioned below.Cons, small discomfort in my opinion:1. The stand could have been better. When you fold the cover over to become the stand, the bottom portion of the stand isnt entirely flat; this makes the device sort of unstable. I learnt to put some pressure every time I place the stand, this way the bottom portion then becomes flat and the device stays in place.2. Charging the device when using the stand is not good. I cant say if this is more the issue with the kindle itself rather than the cover. I learnt to charge the device only when its not being used.

Great price, poorly designed product. This is more or less useable for the Kindle Fire HD 7" tablet but the tablet slips around in the case, the openings are not designed for the buttons on the back of the tablet, etc., etc., so you have to keep adjusting everything every time you use the tablet and again when you decide to power it off. Very poor design if it was in fact designed to accommodate the KFHD7. My guess is that the designers tried to design it to accommodate a number of "similar" tablets, most of which were or are thicker and have their backside controls located in different places. I would not recommend this product to anyone for a KFHD7.

Good looking case. Smells like real leather. Supposed to be for a Kindle Fire HD. The holes cut in the leather do not correspond to the position of the volume buttons, power buttons or earphone cables or the power cable. You have to shift the kindle around to access the power button. I tried every position possible. To charge device you have to remove it from the case. Totally unacceptable.

The case is nice and fits the device well but when it comes to charging it i have to fiddle with it longer than i want to or i have to open case because the holes where you put the plug in are blocked some by the case. It does not stand up as well as i thought it would, but all and all it serves its purpose which is to protect the kindle.

I didn't want anything that added a lot of bulk to my Kindle Fire. I wanted a quality product, a professional look, and options for standing my Kindle when I'm reading or working. I read a lot of reviews and noticed that this cover also has an opening for charging, while some other covers did not. This also has the nice feature of turning on when you open the cover and going to auto-sleep when closing the case. The light magnet in the case keeps the cover secure and the Kindle fits perfectly inside. Thank you to the other reviewers for helping me select this very well priced cover.

I first bought the Amazon case ($45) but thought it was quite a bit overpriced for what you got. Plus it didn't really stand up that well but instead continually slipped on my desktop and my headphones wouldn't plug in because they didn't leave a large enough cut out for the headphone jack. So I returned it and got this much cheaper case ($15). The Acase case for my Kindle Fire 7in HD is just the kind of case I was looking for at around half what I was expecting to pay. It looks and feels like leather (or a great imitation, I not enough of a connoisseur to tell the difference), and it is very sturdy. It has holes for the speakers so sound comes through clear, and I can have it closed while it charges. It takes some slight adjustment to get it to stand, but as long as it isn't bumped hard it stands as good as any much more expensive case. Nothing super fancy, just an excellent case at a more than reasonable price. I very much doubt you'd regret choosing this case to house your kindle.
