i bought this product because it had what I needed for my gazebo. when i opened the package i placed the solar panel out to charge, after several hours of sun i connected the lights to the panel and pushed the on button. I got a quick blink of light then nothing and the lights never came on. I checked the panel power output and got 0v, i sent them back for a replacement set. a few days later the replacement set came and I did the same thing, put the panel out to charge and then plugged in the lights, nothing. The solar panel sucks, 2 for 2 is too much, sent back for full refund, Ill order from somewhere else

Not sure what to make of this. The first week it was fine, it light up my LED accent light in front of the house and we were ecstatic. But three weeks in it stopped woking. I tested the light with a 12V battery and the light is OK, so I tested the contacts from the unit and got 12V, yet the light doesn’t power up at night. I think the photoelectric sensor must be bad. I waited until after the return period to install it, so I guess I am out of luck. But I would not recommend it based on my experience.

When it worked, it was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately it failed after about 3 months. I’ve used a multimeter - the battery works, the panel works, but it doesn’t deliver power to the lights anymore.

There is only one way to the remote sensor unit. According to the diagram, they should not be plugged into that. There is no other way to connect anything. The directions for pairing the remote do not work (although it says it’s paired out of the box). I cannot find better instructions anywhere. I’ve tried hitting the button on the back of the solar panel for 5 seconds as described. After sitting in the direct sun for 4 hours and taking it into the dark, the lights do not work. I’ve tried different things and nothing works.

I have tried for several nights now to get these to work. I know the solar panel got enough sun through the day and has charge. But the lights just do not turn on. I have tried following the instructions (5-second long press on button), but nothing seems to make a difference. Once, on the first day, I managed to get the lights to turn on for one second and then they went off. This is a waste of money, find something else to meet your needs.

I purchased this solar panel to power my front porch step lights that I purchased from the same seller. It works great. No reason now not to illuminate your steps because of no electrical outlet. Construction of this product is excellent. I now have no law suits possible because of a fall on my previously dark steps.

I couldn't figure out how to turn them on. To much work for what I needed them for.

Input and output leads had been cut off; output leads could have touched during shipment. Unit doesn't work and cannot light two 4' long LED tape lights. My project timing prevented me from confirming the unit works until after the window for return had passed. Looking at other reviews, my issue is typical, not unique. Added to the poor quality of the unit's design, receiving a used and modified unit unexpectedly, makes the experience even worse. Do not buy this unit.
