We use this for our French door refrigerator as we have a special needs child and he would eat the whole contents of the fridge overnight if given the chance. The keys work great and having2 makes them easy to have one available and one hidden for emergencies or if other is lost.

Bought this trying to lock my helmet to my motorcycle bars that wasn’t 6ft long, but this was slightly too small to make it through my helmet chin and around the bars, I was realizing hoping it would work because it feels strong and is small enough to throw under my seat

We have a metal baby gate at the top of our stairs, but our 3 year old can defeat the locks in seconds. We bought this bike chain to keep the gate locked, and without a key he is definitely not getting through. The lock itself is small but strong, made of heavy, sturdy metal. The cable which is wrapped in some sort of smooth rubber is nice and flexible. It worked for my application.As far as bike chains go to actually prevent theft…this lock only stops honest people. If you live in an area where bike theft is really common, this lock is not for you. This isn’t some sort of high end lock with with ultra thick metal made to deter professional thieves from stealing an expensive bicycle. A pair or harbor freight bolt cutters defeats this (and most other) small bike chains/locks in literally one second.This lock stop random passersby hooligans from committing crimes of opportunity walking away with an unsecured bicycle. As long as you keep that in mind it’s a nice functional lock. I am satisfied for what I bought it for.

This seemed to be a quality product with which to lock my motorcycle helmet to my bike. It was fairly compact, appeared sturdy enough, and being able to lock it without the key, by pressing down on the button was a nice feature. Unfortunately the cable was just not long enough to attach the helmet to the bike.The cable is somewhat flexible so you may think that if you squeezed it a bit, you might pick up a little extra length, but the cable needs to be in the circular position for it to engage and lock properly. The attached photos show that the internal diameter is approximately 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches. If that doesn't give you enough space to lock your helmet, this item won't work for you.I do like it and if this product were made in a slightly larger size, I would probably buy it. Being able to lock it without the key is a nice feature in my opinion. Unfortunately, I had to return this one.

Cylindrical lock is what sold me. It works so much better than standard key locks, or combination locks. Small enough to fit in a jacket pocket. Works for locking helmet to my motorcycle as a short-term deterrent. Check the openings on helmet D-Ring, as other reviewers have mentioned 17.5mm, or 11/16 in. is the diameter of cable male end, about the same diameter as a dime.Now if only the metal part was stainless steel...

Really like this product for securing my helmet to my bike. Although the metal tip is 17.5mm in size, which may or may not fit through your D rings. It works fine on my Harley Clam shell with the larger D rings but does not work on my Bilt Modular helmet. The ring/loop is large enough that I can raise the face shield and loop it through the face and connect it to a crash bar or my back rest support. The cable is rubber coated so you don't have to worry about it scratching things. Easy to lock and unlock, once unlocked you just put it back together and press down on the key button. So you don't have to have the key to lock it, just to unlock. Overall, I really like this product and would buy it again.

I bought this sturdy brake and handle lock for my electric scooter which is bight blue. I got the lock in yellow to really stand out. Easy to use and sturdy. I highly recommend.

Perhaps a couple inches shorter then I wanted but that’s OK. I use to lock up my walker when I’m out of it temporarily. So the lightness is great for this old guy.

I was looking for a small lock that would help secure my kid's kick scooters. Some places they have scooter racks an other don't. Although I didn't see anybody else using it for this purpose, I thought I would try it and bought two. Works like a charm. Not looking at Fort Knox here, but great for scooter parking, while the kids are at school. Love that it locks with a press of the lock and you don't need the key to lock. 2 months in and no problem for my 8 year old.

Sometimes I don't want to bring my big lock; maybe I'm just going out for a coffee or for a ride to the park. This little lock fits into my pocket or around my arm, doesn't rattle, and is just flexible and long enough to wrap around my bike's frame and whatever pole or pipe is convenient at my destination. Not as tough as a solid steel u-lock, but it is perfect as a convenient deterrent.
