A Kids' Guide to Manners: 50 Fun Etiquette Lessons for Kids (and Their Families)

A Kids’ Guide to Manners is a fun book to read. It’s well-written and easy to understand. I enjoyed the language, illustrations, and the interactive questions and answers. Above all, it’s really informative in that it covers so many aspects of what constitutes good or bad manners for kids. The topics are organized in small bites for easy conversation between the kids and the parents. After covering a topic, the kids will know exactly what is expected of them in such circumstances. I highly recommend the book to parents, especially to immigrant parents who want to learn more about the American manners and culture.

I'm going to cut this book up and xerox copy the pages in 48 FONT. I will definitely use this book as a curriculum tool for my middle school students for the entire school year. P.S. I'm the guidance counselor......Thank you Ms. Katherine Flannery!

I bought 3 books of manners for kids, but this is the best by far!

A great book to read to your kids and talk about. A bit repetitive, but gets good simple points across to kids that makes sense. The only thing I hate about the book, is the very small print :(

Wayyy too wordy to be a kids guide. It should be a teens guide. A bit pointless of a purchase for me.

We're going through this book right now. I can say it's nice to have it coming from somewhere other than "mom". It's probably geared towards kids age 5-10...but the lessons are certainly universal. FYI..The humor in the book is very dry and cheesy, so I find myself skipping over those parts so my older kids aren't distracted from the point of the lesson.

The book is written in a reassuring fashion. I read the first few pages to my 7 yr. old grandchild. She seemed to like the emphasis that manners are kindness. We aren’t through the book yet. I like the family page also. Ideas & practices will vary from family to family but the underlying principle is the same.I’m sorry we are not too far into it but so far so good.

It's a excellent book. Easy to understand for kids. My daughter who is 10 years finished the book and would like to follow. Would recommend to my friends.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my stepsons incredibly bad mannered girlfriend. Despite being easy to read and well laid out, it wouldn’t appear that she has read it as she didn’t even say Thank you for the thoughtful gift. Obviously this book is no substitution for good parenting & teaching manners from an early age. Lucky me!

Adorable. Fun and easy to read.

This is a great modern manners book, but is a little too mature for my young child. Would be great for early-late teens, and for adults too as refresher. Would recommend.
