Nice model for kids to build.
we have our nine year old grandson living with us while we are shielding as mum works at the local hospital. As we are shielding so is he. We are trying to keep him entertained and amused to be fair anything that gets him off his I pad and x box is a winner. This is a good model once assembled he has dozens of lego models from the biggest to the smallest. He really enjoyed building this bus . I would have liked it to take a little longer but he has been doing these models for years and flys through them. As usual with lego no problems with the contents no missing peices . And again as usual with lego all the packs and instructions are easy to work out. He didn't find any problem areas and he had no difficulty building the bus.A good model for kids to do keeps them off all the electric stuff for a day or two.

Great for adults. I don't know about kids because I won't let mine play with it.
This. Is. Awesome. After missing out on the Monster Fighters sets, I had been waiting for a paranormal-themed Lego range to arrive and I am not disappointed. I've got a few different ones but this is the biggest and best so far.Annoyingly, I had to attend to my own children so couldn't build it all in one go. It took a while but was enjoyable from start to finish. The app works well and there are loads of amazing/amusing details. Great stuff.

Great Lego As Usual
Bought for my 7 year old grandson. I was amazed at the quality and the detail of it and he loved putting it together with a little help from mum! Grandson is Lego mad, plays with little else and this was another great design from the company.

This is educational and constructive toy to have for children
What a great toy to have, very creative and educational for children, my 8 year old spend a lot of time, thinking and reading instructions to build up hid Lego, he has now collected all hidden side Lego. And the advantage to have is to be able to use your iPad to reveal the ghosts on the hidden side Lego. With all the collection we didn’t see my son for 3 weeks in the evening cos he was busy building his lego!

Good quality
The actual lego set is as you expect from lego, well made, fits together well, good amount of building for the age range. The Hidden Side theme in general seems very appealing to my 7 year old, and fits in well with any other sets as he's already made every other building/vehicle from various other Lego City sets "haunted" and plays with them alongside the new Hidden Side sets. However, the app part isn't so appealing (as a parent). You seem to pay a premium for the amount of lego you actually get because you also get to use the app with the set. Lego is well known and loved for the creative aspect and allowing a child to use their imagination (which the set itself does as per my comments above). But the app is nothing more than a video game, with very little interaction with the set. There is no real reason why you would need the set at all to play the games, other than they want you to spend more money. Despite having a brand new phone, it is not compatible with my husbands phone so there will probably be some people assuming it will work and it doesn't. It does work on mine, so I have the pleasure of constantly being asked if my son can borrow my phone, and I don't buy lego so he can stare at it through a phone.Lego is also very good at being used alone or played/built together with friends/family, but unless you have a few spare devices that you want to hand out and don't mind the battery being drained, the app part of it isn't great to be used with others.Overall, I stand by the 4 stars purely for the Lego set itself and the idea of the haunted sets as I think it's a good addition to the existing lego sets, but would prefer it without the app side, as it's not something I want my children spending long on anyway.

Great Hidden Sides Lego set
My 8 year old son loves this set. In fact he made me write a review. He loved the pull-out command centre and that you can fit more than 6 minifigures in the bus. He was particularly impressed with the Hidden Sides app, and he likes the flip-out guns at the side. He plays with it loads.
