Update: It's now been 10 months since we purchased this ice maker and we are extremely happy with it. The first ice cubes it makes after being turned off for a while are small and watery, but they serve to cool down the interior of the icemaker so that subsequent batches are made more quickly and are bigger. Once the machine interior cools and get rolling, the batches come out more quickly. We dump the basked into our refrigerator ice bin and have plenty of ice all the time. The only glitch has been that one of the handles on the ice basket split. We will try to fix it with some super glue, but it doesn't have much impact on our ability to use the basket or the ice maker. Just be careful how you lift the basket out of the maker, since these handles are not strong. We use a food surface approved disinfectant to clean the unit every once in a while and have had no problem. This is a very good machine for the price.The machine arrived this morning and I set it up and let it rest for around 3 hours. Filled it with water from our reverse osmosis filter and turned it on. Around 10 minutes later I heard the first ice cubes fall and it has continued to churn them out since. The gallon bag pictures was almost full in around 3 hours and I had pulled some ice out for a some delicious iced water. The ice cubes are smallish and as others have said, they melt slightly if left in the machine. The melt water drops back into the reservoir and is recycled. I have emptied the basket into a gallon bag and placed it into the freezer. Though the cubes do stick, they come apart easily if the bag is knocked slightly on the counter. The only drawback so far is that the ice maker is fairly loud. It makes a loud whirring sound and a clacking when the ice is dropping into the basket. We bought it for our small theater concessions bar, but have decided that we will need to make the ice at home and transport the ice in a cooler because the noise is too loud for our small theater space. However, for the price, I'm happy with its performance and would purchase it again. I will update once we've been using it for a few weeks.

I bought this one for our hot summer and I look forward to giving me a cool feeling in peacetime. We had used it for months, which is perfect for my family, The ice machine is small and easier to be placed in any corner. It would take 10 minutes to make ice, directly open the machine, you can directly take the ice out. no smell, it’s unlike the rubber mold for making ice, the ice comes with a strong rubber smell. It is completely safe to use, all our family is in love with it.

We first got it and it worked perfect. Nice perfectly formed ice just right for crunching when you run out of tea. Unfortunately, after 4 months, it started acting up. First it wouldn't make ice because the sensor said it was full, then after unplugging it and plugging it several times, finally it started making ice again, but alas, only for about a day, then started making small ice chips. It's getting to be a game now to try to get it to work, so I guess we'll have to warranty it. Fortunately we bought the extended warranty, so should be able to get a replacement.

wanted an ice maker. We didn't want to buy a brand-new fridge, so this is what he chose. And it works well. It is noisy. But it works.

Makes ice quickly but it's extremely wet and you cannot allow it to make full basket or it's half melted before you can dump it into bowl and place it in freezer. Ice is not kept cold whatsoever.

So just recently I purchased, received such said product with high hopes that it would, could than eleviate or rather take the place of, any such further need to use a traditional type, style of cooler. As well as not having to either premake or else likewise purchase however many ice cubes I would than need. That being said, I am to say the least very much so pleased and furthermore so impressed with this product, purchase! Already so far now, I have had the pleasure, experience of just only now having to make a decision about just which, how much, and ultimately choose just what I would want to have to drink whenever I would make my way out and about or whatever? In addition to that, I am now free to consider, explore and best of all choose from any one of so many of plenty new possibilities only now available, or rather made possible now with having the benefit of almost effortless, way easy to do, perfectly prepared ice cubes with just the push of a button! Whenever, wherever, or for whatever the need may be?! I can't wait til Football season to begin as this totally time and space saving, abso-frickin-lutely all around just an awesome ice making lil machine, ingenious idea / product is simply said... Game changing! AMAZING! I would without a doubt most definitely purchase again, recommend!THANKS!

Ordered this because the ice maker comes with the fridge broke. I’m glad I got this ice maker because it works so well! Had to stick with the fridge water filter to make ice which always has wired taste to it. Now I’m using to RO water that’s almost odorless. Just pour RO water into the ice maker to the max line and turn on the machine. Ice will be ready within 10 minutes! It’ll be full with an hour! We always lift full basket of ice and transfer them into freezer with zip bag to store more ice. Highly recommend this ice maker!
