The thermostat works as it should on my 98 mustang gt,it even keeps it cooler than stock thermostat

Little leary about it take a long time to open and I can tell it's not quite right but it doesn't stick just doesn't work as well as my 180 degree thermostat, this is a 170 ,might just be too cool .

It doesn't look the same as the picture. The rubber part is missing.

This lower temp thermostat helped the cooling of my old trucks engine right away. When I see my engine temp gauge going past the center line I get nervous, so I changed to this lower temp thermostat.It opens and closes at the advertised temps easily.

THEY DO MAKE A 160 DEGREE VERSION THAT PHYSICALLY FITS MY CAR BUT MAKES THE COMPUTER TELL ME THAT MY ENGINE IS COLDER THAN IT SHOULD BE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM YOU MAY WANT TO TRY THAT VERSION WHICH IS MADE BY THE SAME BRAND. IF YOU WOULD HAVE THAT PROBLEM AMAZON SHOULD TELL YOU THAT THE EVEN COOLER VERSION "WON'T FIT YOUR CAR" EVEN IF IT PHYSICALLY DOES.

It could got 5 🌟 but it doesn't come with the rubber seal or gasket shown on the pic other than that it's ok
