Shima Oil (4oz)

Ok seriously.. This is no joke one of the best hair products I have used on my hair. I'm only 14 and I heard about Shima Oil and was so determined that it would work for my hair so my mom bought it for me. While my Shima Oil was still be being shipped over to me, my hair was healthy,but it was super thin.My hair was already a little pass shoulder length but I wanted it to grow longer. So far, after a week of using this product, my hair has gotten 2x THICKER, NO JOKE!Today, I was looking back at my old pic of my thin hair just a week ago before using Shima Oil, and theirs a major change!Even my mom was like, " Whoah! Ur hair!" I cant help but say this product is amazing.Also, this product makes your super soft. I wash my hair on Sunday every week, like Shima says to wash from 7-10 days and when it's dry, it's brittle and fragile-like and then when I put the Shima Oil in BABAMM! It's crazy softer than before. Then when my mom flat irons my hair it's easier to handle!Also, I noticed that my hair length is starting to grow. Not as quickly as thickness in my hair is, but I can see its growing! I also subscribe to Shima on YouTube and she said that to keep your hair from breaking, wear a SILK scarf at night. She's so true and so SMART! This is whats making my hair grow so much!I just want to say thank you Shima for all the videos to help me take care of my hair and its really made me want to have healthier hair!I'm still going on this hair journey! It's only been a week, but Wholy- SMACKS! Sooner or later, I'm going to be uploading on amazon some before and after pics of my hair results!Anyways, if you are having any second guesses on Shima Oil, U SHOULD GET IT! Plus, it smells so good! Like sweet pea and roses!!

I thought the oil was great & it smells nice. The plastic top was screwed so I only received half of the bottle. Oil was in the plastic wrap & the box was covered with oil. I don't want to repurchase something that I only received half the first time

Just by looking at this product my first thought was "boot-leg"!! Then, I went to the website, which was even worse!! I wrestled with buying this for a year, but it came highly recommended by my sister, so I tried it. Actually, I desperatly needed something because my hair started breaking off due to these harsh winters here in Chicago! Nothing I tried held moisture like this product and I love me some pure coconut oil. Don't get it twisted, I still love coconut oil, however I will say this product made a beliver out of me!! This product is really light in weight (doesn't weigh hair down) which I'm not use too, but it packs a mighty punch. After using this product as instructed the next morning my hair was unbelivably soft and moisturized. It had a shine out of this world that lasted several days which impressed me. It smells ok...my husband loves the smell more than anything!! I will be buying this again and again!!! Can't judge a book buy it's cover or lack thereof!!!

I ordered this oil a few weeks ago.. and I love it. I am a hair stylist and I focus primarly on hair growth. I have been using this oil on myself and I can honestly say that this works!!!! My hair is so much softer and shiny. My ends look amazing. I will be ordering much, much more of this stuff. I will also reccomend this to anyone who is looking to grow there hair out. Excellent product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I will certainly not repurchase this again. Firstly, it smells awful. I mean it's really disgusting. I don't want my hair to smell like old medicine. Who would? It's a waste of money. Get a jar of coconut oil. Problem solved.

I cannot express how much I love what this young lady Shima is doing! Not only is she educating young women on how to care for Afro textured hair but she is a living walking example that Afro textured hair DOES grow!I love Shima and all of her hair growth techniques. Shima was a great resource for me when I found her on Youtube (shimahair21) a year ago. Her styling and growth techniques ALONE have helped me to get my hair back to a healthy state and in the process of retaining MORE length. I have natural afro textured hair that is a little past shoulder length when stretched. I am now going into my 2nd year of my healthy hair journey and Shima's PROTECTIVE STYLING and Moisturizing techniques are phenominal!!. She has products like the Hairline Creme, Shima Oil and Shampoo that work in addition to her step by step guide and DVD. Shima is really a valuable resource when it comes to achieving mythical hair lengths. She is LIVING proof that her system works. I would recommend giving Shima's products a try, you wont be disappointed. The Shima oil is light weight and smells good! Using the oil in addition to protective styling and gentle handling of your hair will help you retain length!!

I am a heavily into oils. You name it i have tried it: argan oils( severely overrated) to coconut( so far the best), to any South Indian oils you can imagine. This is a cooking oil. Apply on clean hair and you will smell like a french fry.it So its not my top pick in terms of immediate moisture results. By the way I'm not of color, my hair is thin fine blond and shoulder length.
