FORMUFIT F0123WE-BL-10 3-Way Elbow PVC Fitting, Furniture Grade, 1/2" Size, Blue (Pack of 10)

I bought these 1/2" sized, 3-Way Elbow PVC Fitting for a project where I already had plenty of 1/2" PVC pipe. As you can see from the photos, the FORMUFIT product is labeled as 1/2" sized fittings that will fit 1/2" sized PVC pipe. My pictures show the 1/2" PVC pipe that actually measures at a one half inch diameter. However, the elbow fittings are 1" in diameter with a thickness just under 1/8".Complete fail, FORMUFIT.

We need these to make a drying rack for the RV. The hardware store didn't sell this type of elbow. The drying rack is 40 inches tall and 40 inches long for I needed to be able to hang my swimming towels without them touching the ground. We used 1/2 inch PVC pipe (four 40 inch ones and two 20 inch ones) .The width of the drying rack is 20 inches . The drying rack is very sturdy for it sits as a rectangle, ie it doesn't fall over in the breeze. There is no drying rack that I could find that was sturdy and I could move from shade to sun. Will attach a picture later.

We used these with some PVC pipe from the hardware store to build a netted box to protect the strawberries in our raised beds from the birds. We just connected several pipes together in an elongated cube shape then wrapped all but one side with bird netting and voila, no more birds eating our strawberries!The joints fit very neatly with the pipe and did not need any adhesive. Adhesive will be needed though if you are pressurizing the lines.I'm also considering using these to build a sort of modular water-playground for the kids where they can build their own miniature water park connected to the hose.Update: We've been using these for about a year now and they're still working great. We found that with regular use it was worthwhile to use some glue to fasten the joints properly. Since we weren't pressurizing water in the pipes, I did a really quick glue-job that took 2 minutes and now the joints hold everything together really well.

It's Tinker Toys for big kids! We use these fittings to build frames to place over our garden boxes. (We don't use PVC cement because we want to be able to take them apart after the season.) We wrap bird netting (and sometimes insect netting) over the frames to give our spring garden a chance against the birds, squirrels and insects that just love the young shoots, sprouts and leaves. So versatile, reusable and easy! We'll remove the frames later in the season when the plants are well-established. At that time, we can either keep the frames assembled, or disassemble them for storage until next spring.

Using this FORMUFIT PVC 43-way elbow worked well on the FORMUFIT brand piping. I’m building a planter/greenhouse with it and these are being used for hanging lights, so I can adjust their location as needed. This PVC is great because it has no markings, it’s non-toxic and food safe. I checked the pricing on this vs my local hardware store and it’s about the same, but I can be lazy and get it at my doorstep instead of running to the store ha.Combining this with the other FORMUFIT PVC brand piping turned out really great. I will continue buying this brand in the future for more projects.

I’ve built quite a few things with these fittings. They are very well made and fit tightly with 1/2” PVC pipe. I’ve seen other brands which are cheaper but also thinner and basically, wimpy. I recommend these Formufit furniture connectors.

Did what they were supposed to do - help with a hoop house on my deck because I am having work done in the yard. I needed the house because the squirrels and chipmunks made a playground of my potted veggies and herbs. I have to stabilize the house a bit with heavy bags of dirt once there is movement on the smooth deck. My local home big box depot did not have these in stock. Their online price was outrageous. The price on Amazon was fantastic.

Love, love, love, these fittings. I have ordered them multiple times for PVC sculptures. They are always cleanly finished which is nice compared to the alternative of getting them at the hardware store. Additionally the wealth of options is great. They go on easily and glue down well with pvc glue.

I bought 3 packs of these Formufit fittings, I tested both the 1/2 size and 3/4 size. I confirm that the item description is incorrect and misleading, the formufit fittings are NOT COMPATIBLE with standard Schedule 40 Pipes available at hardware stores. I have wasted my money buying these fittings thinking they would be compatible with standard pipes and now I can't even realize my project. If you are buying this thinking it will be compatible with standard pipes you will be disappointed a lot!
