I was excited to try this coffee because it is organic, non-dairy, ready-to-go, and already had my additions: coconut creamer and chocolate. Well, forget it: when they say "splash," they mean hint of a hint. This coffee is effectively black. Great if you want it that way, but I bought it for the additions, and I LIKE MY MOCHA. I can't judge black coffee because I don't drink it, so you'll have to judge for yourself. In order to drink this, I have to add creamer and chocolate, which misses the point. I don't mind that it's not sweetened, that was a plus for me so I could sweeten it myself (all companies sweeten too much and none use maple syrup). Guess I'll have to stick with La Columbe (not organic) and Rise ("creamed" with oat). Actually, I prefer my own, but we wanted to have this on hand for travel and rushed mornings. We'll probably stick with Rise, which is great, and La Colombe coconut mocha.

Black coffee, dark chocolate lovers will appreciate, however, Mocha lovers ???
The coffee was as if black, not a hint of the sweetness added from milk or milk alternative that is a big part of mocha drinks. I’m looking for the tannin absorption properties of this added protein and ended up adjusting my bottles by adding my own dairy substitute and yes, actually some sugar. It’s super bitter and acidic without much coconut milk.

Very acidic and bitter tasting. Not smooth at all. Worse than cold McDonald’s coffee. Definitely not worth $4 a box/bottle. 3stars for the milktoast basic packaging. But not sure how recyclable plastic and foil glued together paper with a plastic spout is. Buy cans, recyclable forever.
