Do not use for hot liquid!!! Despite being "perfect for soup"
We purchased this product recently. We filled with soup, not boiling. It immediately turned a dark color and began to leak, and later, began dissolving. It will be sent back. I have a video if interested.

Great Soup Bowls
Despite the negative reviews, I took a chance and purchased these bowls for an event. Thankfully they worked perfectly, small enough to allow room on the plate for bread, crackers, etc yet large enough to hold plenty of soup. The review about them leaking had me concerned, so I tested them as soon as they were delivered. I poured boiling water into one and allowed it to sit for an hour.. absolutely no leaks! They are great quality, have a unique look and are perfectly sized!

These are just what I was hoping for. Very sturdy, perfect size. We used them for chili at my daughter's grad party. They worked great! I love that they are earth friendly.
