A collection of generally unreadable essays by scholars who, for whatever reason, seem fully and utterly incapable of looking past their own post-modern prejudices. I had to read this book for a history seminar class in whichnearly all essays were reviled by virtually all students in the class. Poor scholarship, poor writing, and over-priced. Look elsewhere.
