Great engine - for a Yeti
Great product. Plenty of power for my yeti. Right amount of torque and speed. Use proper gearing and watch your temps. Solid product from a solid company.

Suprizingly efficient and ridiculously powerful
I knew this 550 motor would be more powerful than my 540 but WOW. It is ridiculously powerful and simply amazes me. My old motor was a major brand also so it's not like I'm comparing it to junk. I run a 3s 1/10 buggy that is heavier than most out of the box and after upgrading several aluminium parts the stock motor could barely keep up. I see some other people running the higher KV Pro4hd motors but I went with the 3000kv after reading Tekin recommends this one for 3s. Glad I did. Even after a full battery pack's worth of heavy handed throttle just doing doughnuts and chomping through tall grass I measured it topped out at 155 degrees. Stays very cool. My favourite thing is the efficiency! In my car I swapped my old motor with this one and made no other changes and now my run times are much longer. I'm roughly guessing I went from 15 minute run times to 25 minute run times just by switching to this guy. Love the fact that it's components are replaceable inside without needing a whole new motor if ever needed. Output shaft is 5mm but it still has both 3mm and 5mm mounting holes which is convenient. Worth the price in my opinion.
