Crystal clear and super bright
I like bright, punchy sounding drums and these Evans Glass heads are quite nice for that. Quick-ish decay and a powerful attack make for a drum sound I'm very happy with. If you're looking for warm, sustaining ring I'd stay away from these and go with those weird looking "fiberskyn" heads. I had a "warm" phase while playing drums but I'm back to big sound that sounds fantastic when mic'd up. You can hear EVERYTHING you play with no muddiness and little ring.

Give your drums the projection they deserve.
These drum heads give your kit the projection and sustain that youve been looking for. I used them with Coated G2s for the batters and they sound fantastic. They work great with thicker or hydraulic heads as well.

Pretty good
Overall this is a good head and a good price. I have used it on 2 drum sets so far and overall I am pleased with the sound! So much so that I just bought heads for a 3rd drum set.

Changing the reso heads really made a world of difference. After getting them in tune a couple of times, the tension is staying pretty steady and they go great with my aquarian studio x batters.

Yes, resonant heads make a difference
Great resonant head. Yes, they make a difference. Take off those old stock heads (the one's that came with your drum kit YEARS ago) and replace them with glass.

WAY better than the G1 clear heads I had on the bottom before. Soften and rounds the sound out. My toms sound incredible now.

Evans heads are for sure
seem to be well made heads and I am equipping all drums with Evans heads. I add my own dampening to all heads for tone
