Well made for a basement 3D printed item. Works fine. Fair price. Filled a need perfectly, and I appreciate the ability to support other makers. Need: I do amateur digital electronics and solder at a bench in a home office a lot. I built a custom exhaust fan / vent setup using a home "grow" fan and shop vac 2.5" ducting. The fan and exhaust are 4". I exhaust everything out the window through a dryer fitting and baffle. The 2.5 ducting gives me velocity and 4" gives me the volume. It works well under my microscope / soldering stage.

Great product that works well. Fits over most dust collection ports.

I would rather the 4 inch side was slightly larger, rather than the same size as the pipe, so that it would simply fit over the pipe to just be banded down, but the flex cuff accomplished that task. I was just happy to find a product that accomplished what I needed, which was to vent toxic fumes from a 3-D printer to the outside through a dryer vent.

Just purchased but pleasantly surprised at the great quality of this blast gate. It appears well made and should hold up a lot better than my previous plastic one. Gates a little stiff but should loosen up with use. Would buy again.

Works as described. adapts 4" down to 2.5". clamps work good, doesnt feel cheap.

I ordered four of these to fit 2 1/2 inch dust collector hoses to a few of my workshop tools. Easy to use, fit well in my hoses, and provide a good seal when closed. Will buy again if need be.

Blocks every bit of air. I threw out my plastic ones. Plaster blast gates don’t work

I really like these hose adapters. Having the quick release is a fantastic time saver. The only thing I wish was that the (already good) magnets were even slightly stronger, but I can swap these out at some point. Also, the hose clamps, I’ve since found I like the wire clamps for the hose that sit either side of the hose ribbing as opposed to the band clamps that squash the ribbing, but they still work just fine.
