Updated from original review:Although this is a nice looking bag mine has started to come apart even though it's gotten very little use, so I would not recommend this bag for someone who would use it daily or frequently.This is a beautiful leather messenger bag, I had ordered another messenger bag before this one but it was canvas and leather and I didn't like it too much, so I ordered this one and it's an awesome bag I use it for when I travel to preach, it can hold my English and my Spanish Bibles, a Paper notebook and a 12.9 3rd generation iPad pro plus some pens, an extra handkerchief, listerine strips and a few other things, the leather had some discoloration but the company was kind enough to send me some leather cream to apply to the discoloration and it did a good job, this is a definite buy if you are looking for a good looking leather messenger bag.

First look and smell this is a very well quality laptop/briefcase/bag. It has the wonderful full on leather smell. The hardware is all quality brass. The stitching is just excellent. When you lift the top flap first you see a pocket that is just open one side is raw leather other is smooth. Then the main compartment your first pocket is zippered, then an open space with 2 pen holders and key clip, 2 other pockets one large and deep other smaller and tight. Then you have a padded divider held by a Velcro strap to another compartment. The material inside the bag is nice cotton soft feeling. This bag has a lot of room for any purpose you might find you need it for. This is a exceptionally made bag period… I hope this has helped. Thank You

If I had just one word to describe the Addey 15” leather messenger bag/briefcase, it would be impressive.The first thing you notice about this bag is the quality of the leather. It is genuine leather, looks hand crafted. Has a character about it that says quality.The next impressive quality is the simplicity. There are no unnecessary or faddish appointments. This briefcase looks timeless. It has a large closing front flap which uses an antique snap closure which is hidden under a decorative antique brass buckle.There is a generous reinforcing patch on the front to the briefcase for added protection.The carrying handle is made of the same quality leather. There is a detachable shoulder strap which is made of web-type material with leather reinforcing at the end and a leather shoulder patch in the middle. The quick release attaching snaps are antique brass.Inside the bag is lined with high quality tan material. There is a separate pocket which holds up to a 15” laptop. This pocket has leather trim at the top and a leather strap with Velcro to secure the laptop in place. There is minimum extra padding, so you may want to consider a sleeve if the bag will encounter jarring movements.On the inside front panel is a zippered pouch pocket measuring about 9.5” wide by 6” deep.On the front of the laptop pocket are two pouch pockets measuring about 5” deep by 3” wide. Between these pockets are two pen/pencil holders. These are made of the same type leather as the briefcase. There is also a key ring with a quick release snap.The overall dimensions are 15” wide X 12” tall X 3” thick. This is well designed and very well made. It is primarily designed as a business/school briefcase. It does have a limited capacity – not designed as a backpack.Very impressive. Looks and feels more expensive than it is.

This is a wonderful, low profile briefcase. It turns head when it's clean and maintained. I have to treat this bag once a month with a leather rub - or the amount of scratches, scuffs, and blemishes are seriously distracting to the effect it has, as a fine leather product.It holds a 15 inch laptop and an small amount of other items. It does not expand much or should I say it does not expand attractively. Limit your load to essentials, and this is a head-turning product.I don't use the shoulder strap, ever. I like the clean look of the case with the handle. Nice to set on the table during meetings, next to your chair, etc. Very professional.Strap leather is wearing pre-maturely on mine, so much so that it's now a different color. But, still fully functional.I'm deducting one star due to stitching issues on the bottom of the bag. I've now had to resort to some fish line hand stitching to make repairs to keep the hole from getting bigger. I now have a full 1.5 inch of the front bottom right of the bag that has come un-stitched. I'm using clear glue to limit the thread continuing to come out (which a small tug will pull it right out). I'm guessing this issue will continue to plague my use of the bag - but I'll work with it as long as I can.Mine has a much more smooth/shiny appearance than the photos on the amazon page - have a look at my photos which accurately reflect the general appearance of my bag.As leather bags go, this is a quality product at a very competitive price. I recommend you give it a shot if you're looking for a bag of this size in this price range. Equal to bags costing twice as much.

This is a beautiful leather messenger bag with a cotton liming. This bag has a very masculine look and vintage look. The leather has a burnish-antique hardware. The bag has a 1.5" wide shoulder strap. The bag has plenty of room for your laptop, iPad and plenty of other supplies.
