Q: What is the largest gauge that will fit this terminal?

Per WEN's site, these will work on cables up to American 2 gauge and down to American 6 gauge. This should cover just about all passenger vehicles and light trucks (standard pickup trucks).

Q: Will I need a new wire also or can I use the one I have now to use with this terminal?

Q: I have two wires gauge #2 going to my battery terminal. does the wen top post battery terminal work with two wire leads?

Jeff I had the same issue. When you twist the wires together they will not fit into the provided sleeve. I had to thin the wires out. With a little elbow grease I got them in there. To answer your question, no they will not fit without modification.

Q: What is the inside diameter of the hole that goes over the battery post?

Terminals are too small to fit positive battery post and when trying to spread to fit, they will break. Cheap pot metal and not brass as advertised.
