Great board. Strong, light, well-made and kinda extreme!
Bought this having never ridden a mountainboard before and lemme tell you. This thing feels strong and is great on big hills with the roughest terrain.I've been in some dangerous scenarios with this board and it has never let me down. I keep it in my truck and if I'm near a state park or see some big hills I'll stop and ride this thing. It can handle going super fast, going over roots, taking drops (with some creaking - but no cracking), in forests, fields, roads, skateparks, you name it. It's a hell of a lot of fun though I would warn the average Joe with no experience - be careful on massive hills and know how you're going to fall in case you do. The brake on it won't stop you if you're going fast and I've been on hills so steep the brake won't do anything to slow you down. You'll want to use the foot straps included but I took mine off as I got more experience. I've been using this board pretty regularly for over a year and after a while I wanted to jump off quicker as I was attempting some pretty intense rides. It took a little bit to learn how to ride it without the straps at speed and on rough terrain but for me personally I feel safer not being strapped in.Overall, this board is great! Rolls smooth, stable up to super fast speed (I have experienced some wobble on large, steep, road hills), and is a great way to experience nature in a whole new way. I have personally used this board to ride down 45 degree hills in the forest, over roots and rocks, down 6 foot at least drops, on some of the steepest roads you can find, and just around town. It's lightweight and holds up really well to absolute torture. Great buy!! Riding it really teaches you balance and confidence in hairy situations if you do it enough. I would recommend this board to anyone as it has been a wonderful outlet to get me out in nature and see new places.

My son thinks this is the greatest!!!!! EVER!!!! EVER!!!!!
This was my son's Christmas present. He loves it. Guess I got this one right. It arrived on time, excellent condition. The tires were a little low, no suprise there. Easily resolved. I reccommend using a bicycle pump to reduce the chance of a blow out. My son is pretty big for his age and weighs in at a little better than 150 lbs. Not a problem with this board. He took it off road immediately and abused it. Water, mud, sand and gravel, concrete ramps, no problems. He says he's ready for youtube now. He even loved the graphics. I don't know if this the board the pro's use but my kid thinks it's great.

Good board but needed adjustments to work properly.
Day one.Got the board today and it came in a big box (36”x52”x7”). Ordered it from Amazon and with Prime, it came in two days. Right on time!Overall: The 95x of the part number means the board is 95cm long and the x means it comes with a brake. The 80 boards are smaller and are intended for youth. The 80 would work for my 12-year-old son but he may outgrow the board in a couple of years. So, we went with a 95x as the 90 didn’t come with a brake. The deck: Feels like a quality wood deck. Similar in construction to a typical skateboard but thicker. The 95 board measures 0.55” thick.Wheels and tires: Pneumatic tires measuring roughly 7.5 inch in diameter are mounted on plastic rims with typical skateboard bearings. The rims appear to be split rims meaning the rims come apart to add the tube and tire rather than stretch the tub and tire over one side of the rim. The tubes have a Schrader valve which is typically found on bicycles. Important Note: All tires needed to be aired up. The board roles well with about 20 psi but the board came with about 5 to 7 psi.Brakes: There is one brake that applies friction to both back wheels. Similar to an inexpensive bike, a handle is mounted on a plastic tube and the brake cable is ran through the tube and down to the board and connected to a pair of cantilever brake arms. Rather than both pads squeezing a single rim, each brake pad pushes out on an aluminum plate bolted to the inside of each back rim. All pieces of the brake (except for the aluminum plate) look very similar to bike components so repairing and customizing the brakes shouldn’t be too expensive. Important Note: The brakes needed adjustment to work properly. I’ve worked on bicycles through the years so it was fairly straightforward. The brake cable needed to be tightened and the cantilever brake springs needed to be adjusted to center the pads. Also, one of the aluminum plates appears to be warped causing some pulsating on the brakes when light pressure is applied. This doesn’t appear to affect the performance but I’m still not sure. I need to call MBS about it.Conclusion: I’m still happy with the purchase and am looking forward to what the board can do. It is an entry-level board and some of the components look similar to components on bikes costing under $200. For the price, I still feel it’s a good deal. Don’t forget to give it a tweak when you get it. It will perform much better for you.

Good introductory board
I just got this board for Christmas, and I was completely excited! I immediately took it out to our driveway, only to be instantly disappointed by its slow speed. In about ten minutes, though, after I had read the manual (it's quite handy), I pumped up the tires to 22 psi and it works like better than magic. I have snowboarded for two years, and I found it to come quite easily. The only problem is the brakes. After about fifty feet of snow, the brakes slip so badly that they hardly do anything. I do recommend the brakes because if you live somewhere withOUT shallow enough grades to learn to ride, the brakes are almost essential. Also, the brakes had to be adjusted when I first rode it. The foot straps are adjustable, and the brake cord is longer than the nylon strip connecting the handle to the board, which allows you to use the brake handle to pull it up the hill. Overall, a very good board, but it does require some simple initial preparation.
