This jacket is stylish and definitely keeps the wind out. It's oddly warm enough for cooler weather even without lining. I have not yet used it in heavy rain, so I can't comment on that. It's thin and foldable. Overall, I like it. Minor drawbacks: the waist is elastic, not pull-tie, so while the rest of the jacket fits and is even a bit loose, the waist is a bit tight (I'm 5'3", 127 lbs., 29" waist, small busted. Ordered "small".). I guess it depends on your shape. As others said, the hood does not detach, but it's not in the way. It'll be a good jacket for vacation, and that's why I got it.

I ordered this rain coat for my trip to Ireland. It is light weight and easily foldable into a compact size. I tucked it into my backpack and it was practically unnoticeable. It worked great in heavy downpour, I stayed completely dry!

i bought this rain coat for my wife who is city mail carrier. the uniform rain coat is too heavy too her. she told me this rain coat is great for light weight, breathable, and flexible. she was wearing couple times during the light rain and shower, the water did not penetrate the raincoat, that was great.

I love this rain jacket! It is a flattering jacket with a perfect fit and a great length. I'm 5'4'',115 lbs and normally wear a size XS. The XS fits perfectly and is just above my knees. The quality is worth the price. The materials feel comfortable and soft. Also,this jacket is lightweight, waterproof and packable, which is great for those drizzling days.

LOVE IT! I’m normally a medium or even a size large but I followed the sizing chart and the small is perfect! I love the material and the fit. The sleeves are a perfect length for my petite height.

Very thin fabric, pretty color. Water resistant. Not for heavy rainfall areas. I live in Southern California where it barely rains so it works for the occasional sprinkling.
