Well......
So the books of Marcus and Emmy come to an end! This book was pleasant. It had some jaw droppers in some of the chapters, but nothing to overwhelming. You could see the events unfolding before you even turned the page. It was predictable. Once again I was disappointed in the skipping of major events in the book. You turn the page only to find you are somewhere else. You are left thinking wait, what? I even had to turn back the pages to see if I actually missed something. There is definitely continuity missing. Again like the author lost her train of thought or just wanted to get it over with. The last chapters of this book are the best and the most exciting. But it's not enough, I think for me to continue on into the Noru series. Again I think this series would have been a lot better if time and consideration for the reader was put into it. It is at best a decent read. Would I read them again. No.

Little to no character development from book one to end of series, too much repetition.
Formatting, or lack there of, in addition to the typos and grammatical errors make this a hard read. The constant teen angst on the same line as the previous books make for a lot of boring filler. I also don't like the way some authors are chopping what should be a single book--2 books at the most--into a series. Which is just what this series does. You drop the previous book, left hanging out there--and not in a "I can't wait for the next installment" way--it's more of a half finished chapter. The next book picks up finishing the chapter. There's no smooth transition or a really good cliff hanger. It reads as a way to try and pull readers in to spending more money. I personally do not appreciate this type of writing at all. If you're planning on a series, you need to leave me with really an excellent reason to buy the next book. Either give me a superb cliff hanger... or come to a conclusion with the main protagonists in one book that has great secondary characters with strong personalities and draw. Then write those character's stories to create the series. But don't just chop a book up thinking it's okay. I will not be reading this author again. It's a shame, because the premise had promise.

Great story.
This is a great story from start to finish. I would have given it a 5 star, but the over dramatic, unrealistic squabbling got to me. Also, the character Julian, although adult and having many cycles, had a very "10 year old" mentality. Very overplayed. I'd have shot him. Ugh!!!The translation to Kindle royally screwed with the author's words and undertones. A TON of spelling errors made the flow in some parts difficult to follow.Kindle, do a better job.Overall, great story line. Very original and intriguing concepts were created for this series. Kudos, St.Vil!

Lola this could have been done better. You need an editor
Lola this could have been done better. You need an editor, I don't want to buy a book and have to cringe reading typos and bad grammar...sorryThat being said the characters are not developed enough, Emmy is a sad excuse for a character. Emmy being a human and tagging along with the guardians makes absolutely no sense...it is not explained in the book apart from Emmy's stubbornness, and Marcus' inability to tell her no.What I did find throughout the series was plot holes and duex ex machina, it isn't consistent. My advice to Lola is to write a full series and then release each book instead of having single inconsistent books out thereMy roommate recommended this to me, and all I can say is I want my money back....sighs

So many spelling mistakes #embarrassing
SO MANY TYPOS/SPELLING MISTAKES! Did the author not have the book reviewed by an editor? Or run a spell check? It was so annoying. This book would have received 4 stars had there not been so many grammatical issues and spelling mistakes. I would be embarrassed if I was the author.

Simply put...
I am a fan of the Guardian series. That being said (and after reading and re-reading the series), I expected nothing less than a great ending in "the Nycren". I did not get it...I got PERFECTION!!!This is the author's best work ever! This book had everything a spectacular novel should have intriguing opening, great storyline, and more plot twists and turns than Hershey Park!!! This book was the ultimate thrill ride with non-stop action, triumphs, heartbreaks, and humor, and more triumphs. The ending provided a conclusion to the series while creating anticipation for the next one.Congratulations, Ms. StVil! You never fail to deliver!

Lola, you've inspired me to enjoy writing and I've become more closer to my reading experiences. You are a awesome writer and I am amazed by your books. I've bought all of the books so far and I didn't get bored once. I can't wait to see what happens next, but I'm sure I'll be mystified by it. You are such a good writer, and I can't say that enough! I've only seen a mistake in your book once or twice or maybe more. You deserve more people to read this and all the others. I knew this would be a good book from day 1. <very much recommended> #toatsMCgoats#

DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR BUSINESS AND WASTE YOUR MONEY
The typos and errors in EVERY SINGLE BOOK are absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. When I BUY a book with my own money, I expect professionalism. The author sucks. Of course I had to buy the next book and the next book because I had to know what was going to happen in the story, but looking back, it was a complete waste of money. This author WILL NOT be getting any more of my business and money, and I hope other people will read this and not give her their money for such low-quality, unprofessional writing.

Excellent series.
Enjoyed this series very much...plenty to get your teeth in to...lovely romantic Angel Human story running through it...But sadly the awful practically non-existent proof writing spoilt things...also the books could have been longer...seems like the authoress was trying to make as much money as she could out of the books...I read volumes 1' 2' then went to 6 part 2 because the prices on each book was overpriced...Especially 5 and 6 which also went to part 2 ...Sad because she is a really good story teller...I don't like her taking advantage of her readers like this...I had to find out what happened to our hero and heroine so read 6 part 2...and am sad not to read the rest of the series...but don't like being taken for a ride...Will also Mont read any more of her novels as she will more than probably do the same thing with them...giving 5 stars for the story content as it was very good...Sad she so greedy.

Lost the love for the series
This is probably going to get me lynched by fans but I have found this series going downhill since the third book. I love books of this genre and read a lot of them, and this gripped me until book 4.This series would have been so much more powerful if there had been less of the books and l would have preferred more character development over the crazy amounts of twists and turns, and the constant obstacles faced. It was too much, too full of adventure that it became dull and I craved a quiet non drama filled moment but it didn't ever come.I kept going in the hope that the plot would get back on track but it just kept getting crazier and crazier and not (in my opinion) in a good way. The ending wasn't as brave as I had hoped for either...I was quite disappointed overall.

Absolutely brilliant amazing and spectacular!!!
Absolutely brilliant. I love this book. The series is just amazing!!! I couldn't put them down when reading them. Would definitely recommend these. So many twists and turns and such a good ending. There were lots of parts where I could guess what was happening but it wasn't predictable in any way, I think I was just in sync with the way Lola wrote the story and I'd got used to her style of writing. I would recommend these books immensely. They are one of the best series I have read by far!

Loved the whole series
the whole series has been fantastic all the way through never drifting and getting boring. I have recommended this to friends. The only criticism I have about the whole series is the amount of errors in the type. all the books have been full of them but it is such a good story it didn't spoil my enjoyment it was just a pain. Well done Lola I hope the next Noru series you get a better proof reader but I cant wait to start them.
