great quality/price
I haven't tested higher end BT receivers, but this one passes my requirements: streaming Ultra HD Music at 24bit/96Khz from my phone to my HiFi system. It is easy to pair, sounds neutral, etc.

Great for adding bt to your expensive wired headphones when needed..
I usually use shp9500 (32 ohm) phones and a monoprice liquid spark for headphone listening. However, until purchasing this, I would switch to kinovo bth240 for watching firestick tv. While the kinovo is not bad, the shp9500 and this are much better. The unit is solidly built. The volume control feels great. The power is much more than adequate for driving the shp9500 to ear shattering levels, while not exhibiting noticable (to me) distortion.The only reason it's 4 stars, not 5, is the unfortunate non-support of aptx, aptx HD, aptx LL. While it does provide bt 5.0 and it's potential 2 mpbs increasedlink speed, its stuck in the past with the woeful sbc codec.However, for watching TV with your nice, comfortable wired headphones via bt, it's as good as it gets for $25.. And if you are connecting direct to the firestick bt tx, it also is stuck in the past with the sbc codec anyway.Note I have not used this as spdif/coax DAC. In fact, the DAC is disabled when you use bt. Also, the power may be insufficient for higher (600) ohm headphones - it's 30mw at low impedance. So, YMMV

Item worked well for a while then it just quit. Another piece of useless electronic junk.
I used the optical cable from my TV to the DAC and RCA cables to my stereo receiver. I can watch streamed movies with sound going into my stereo receiver. I was able to use the Bluetooth pairing on my phone and PC and play music off of it into my stereo receiver. Great way to integrate older stereo receivers with smart TVs. I just wish it came with a power supply and a longer optical cable. No RCA cables come with it. I plan on buying a power supply and a better optical cable.

Works but not that well
Sound quality through this device from high-Fidelity system is not as good as a direct Bluetooth connection from a lower quality cheap speaker.Volume knob has distortion at the high limit.

I used it to connect my tv to house stereo wish the volume control went a bit higher but did what I needed

nice small product
it won't work with my Emerson tv, I have digital audio out on the tv but it won't work. I suppose something is wrong with my tv? I will try it on another tv to see if it will work
