I am going to write this review like I had wished others did when I spent forever and a half finding a corset for Vday so I hope this helps you! First, the corset itself... It is surprisingly amazing in quality but I absolutely hate that it does not have the piece of fabric that is supposed to be under the front clips so no skin is revealed (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). It was a poor design choice since people can pinch their skin while trying to clip the front shut. The boning is strong enough to pinch your waist but not uncomfortable to sit in (I spent the majority of the night sitting on the floor playing a board game-Monogamy if your interested in a great coupled game). The corset stays in place and my husband LOVED it. I wore it with a high waisted garter belt and lace cheekies that laced up from the middle to the top of the back and it looked great with the lace down of the corset. I also wore stockings and clipped them to the garter belt. The outfit as a whole worked perfectly and I owe that to this corset. The lace up of the front resolves the issue of puckering if the fit isn't perfect and they are easily removed to make your breasts accessible if you or your significant other want to keep it on during romantic time. All in all, I was very please and would definitely order more.As far as the sizing... I am 5'5, 140lbs, 34DD in VS bras & 36C in others, I usually wear a M in loose fitting button downs or empire waisted tops. and a L in more fitted styles (which I tend to stay away from post-babies- baby pouch insecurities). I wear a L in bottoms (leggings and panties) and a 8/10 in dress pants and a 30 in designer jeans. In skirts, I wear a M/L. In formal dresses by American designers, I wear an 8/10 and if they're foreign designers, I wear 10 and in maxi dresses, I wear a L.My measurements are as follows: Bust (no bra)- 38... Band (right under boobs)- 34... Natural Waist- 33 1/2... Hips (around the largest part of your booty)-41. According to the manufacturers size chart, I wear an XL if I refer to the Band, Cup, and Hips measurements BUT I wear a 2X if I refer to the Waist measurement (damn baby weight). I ordered the 2X and had the breast and band areas pulled all the way closed where no skin showed but from my mid-back down, there was an inch of skin showing through the laces. Please note that in the description photo, they do not advertise it laced all the way shut and the way it is in the photo is EXACTLY how it would have fit me if I would've ordered the XL but it would open up an additional inch from my mid-back down.Therefore, I have concluded that if ALL of your measurements (Bust, Band, Cup, Waist, and Hips) fall directly into a size order that size if you want one inch of skin revealed when you lace up BUT if you want it to lace ALL THE WAY shut, order a size up.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a BIGGER size; order the size your Bust and Cup fit in IF you want the top half to reveal an inch as the laces reveal an additional inch or two as you lace down.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a BIGGER size; order the size your Waist OR Hips (whichever is larger) fits in IF you want the top half of your back to lace completely shut and open up about an inch as you lace down towards your butt.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a BIGGER size AND you want it to lace ALL the way shut so NO skin on your back is revealed, order one size larger than you Waist or Hips BUT you risk it being a bit loose on your chest area. The adjustment in the front will pucker if you pull too tight.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a SMALLER size; order the size your Bust and Band fit in if you want the top half of your back to reveal one inch of skin and lace completely shut towards your butt.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a SMALLER size; order the size your Waist OR Hips (whichever is larger) fits in IF you want the top of your back to reveal about 2 inches and narrow down to one inch towards your butt.If your top half falls into one size while your bottom half falls in a SMALLER size; AND you want it to lace all the way shut so NO skin is revealed on your back, order a size larger than your Bust and Band fit in but you risk it being a bit loose on your belly and waist area.

I was skeptical about the quality for the price but I freaking LOVE this corset, plan to get the same one in different colors. It was hard to get on until I realized I had to loosen the laces in the back first, then no problem. Makes my girls look amazing and I got it for an upcoming photo shoot that is Rococo themed. I'm a 35" hip 27" waist and 35" bust and got a small. Fits perfect with little room to spare. I wear a 32DD bra and am 5'3 130lbs but very muscular (115 lb before I was lifting) for anyone curious about sizing. Good quality material and very pretty/sturdy.

Bought this to wear with part of my Halloween costume next month. The corset is very sturdy and after the first few times it's easy to put on yourself. Make sure you measure yourself because it doesn't run like normal clothing. I'm 200lbs and a 28C and I typically wear an XL but I had to order a 4x in this and it fits well! Will definitely be buying more in a different color.

This is a high-quality corset! I would have never expected this wonderful quality at such a low price! I have purchased corsets that are of much less quality for at least three times the price of this one.

Please do not get discouraged of the first time you put this on and it's hard to put on or feels like you can't tighten the back. This happened when I first put mine on. Took me half an hour I swear and my husband made fun of me for it. BUT after the second and third times putting it on only took a couple of minutes and without help. I love the style and design of this. Great fabric no fraying edges nothing to poke and stab you with. When I first got it I thought I got the wrong size. I ordered a large I am a 12 in jeans and c cup. Like I said after the first attempted it loosened and is much easier to wear now and fits great. I have had several corsets and at the bottom edge that part that is metal and attaches the two pieces bends up when you sit on everyone. NOT THIS ONE! I can sit and run and whatever and it stays in place. This came with a cute panty that matches that I didn't know it came with. I wore this for 5 hours straight at a class the other night and forgot I had it on. I can breathe with this one which I cannot say for alot of others I've tried. Nowhere on me falls out of this corset. It holds what it should hold where it should hold it without causing any pain or discomfort. I would not suggest wearing this under a tight t shirt that actually kinda makes it pointless. I also would not suggest wearing this as a shirt unless your 18 or at a Halloween party this is not a top! More intimate wear then anything. I really love this and my husband really did too. I read reviews and they said for me to order a couple sizes up so I ordered a 3x. Bad idea. I should've ordered a 2x or even xl. The point in wearing this for waist training is for it to bee able to be tightened more and more. I won't be able to go far with it though. And it's a good deal for the money. But I got a really nice one from hustler for $90 and absolutely love it. But stupid me cut my strings then had another baby so I can't lace it yet.The reason I gave this four stars is because the ribbon to tie is ribbon. I was expecting something more sturdy like a thin rope like my other corset has. But I liked this. I probably won't send it back but I know the next one I order will be an xl. I wear a size 10/12 in pants. I'm 5' tall and 173 pounds. The 3x is borderline too big. And the panties are useless to me but that's OK too.
