I used this lockset to replace an older one that I apparently lost the keys for. This is an interior door, not an exterior entry. I don't know if the quality would last for an exterior door. My door already had all the holes, etc., so it took only a couple of minutes to install. The price was right given the quality of the lock.

Wasn’t sure about a $8 lever handle??Was I ever wrong for doubting it’s sturdiness and functionality. I bought 4 total and they all work great. Only thing is the locks could be more secure. By that I mean, they could have an actual key instead of a lock that can be opened using anything flat that fits as a key to open the locks. But they aren’t main door handles so it’s fine for bathroom , closet , bedroom ...

I had one door in the house that I had not replaced the round knobs with a lever lockset. The very low price had me concerned about the quality of this lockset. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was sturdy and functioned smoothly. It was a quick and easy installation to replace the old knob lockset. The handles are not as smooth on the edges of the "wave" lever/handle as the name brand units I used on other doors, but is acceptable. This utility room door is used multiple times a day and now after 2 or 3 months the lockset is still working fine.

Bought this for our garage to house access since it's easier to go in and out with a lever-type handle.This handle stopped working in almost exactly 2 months! We were locked out of the garage from both the car access area and from inside the house, with the garage door openers in our cars.Good thing this didn't happen when we were going to work in the morning or we'd be late for sure.When I finally got the door open, it looks like whatever mechanism that retracts the little tongue that retracts wasn't triggering when the lever was pressed down or lifted up.100% would NOT recommend.

I was dreading the replacement door handle and lock that is situated on the door between the house and the garage. I checked many sources and found that this product at the perfect dimensions to replace the busted handle and lock in the door. It was harder to remove the old lock then to install the new one. I read many reviews and found that most of the negative reviews had to be the problem of the installer and not the lock itself. The handle and lock are very substantial and strong. The directions were a good and even if this was a new install it seemed to be very easy.

My dog became very good at opening doors on her own, which sometimes caused damage as pictured. I never had any plans of replacing it until she went to doggie heaven, which happened a couple of months ago. This door knob is more suitable for the room because I have a handicap ramp that leads into my office, and lever style doors are actually much easier for a person in a wheelchair to use. This lever door knob was one of the best priced options on Amazon, it took like two minutes to install and it looks great. It’s also nice that I can lock the door and easily pick the lock, I charge my children’s iPad in the home office and I don’t want them to be able to access them whenever they want.

Very easy to install and looks more expensive than it is. However, the lock sticks and is difficult to lock and unlock. Not sure if it will operate smoother over time after more repitition locking and unlocking.Not sure this is great for a high traffic door with the lock sticking issue.

These were easy to install but not worth it. I installed it easily enough but within a month it broke. The lever that pulls back the bolt was stripped, so the door was stuck closed. I had to break the entire handle to get the door open.

Not much to say other than was an easy 5 minute install, fit my left swing door from the house into the garage well. I like that it's reversible and with a handle design that is much more practical than trying to turn a knob with your hands full of groceries etc. I can use my elbow to open the door now.

Good deal it would be nice if they add some shims in the kit the face plate is really skinny when used as replacement
