This is the first time I have done a review on these boots but I have had at least 10 pair by now. I have been wearing them for many years and have had all the different colors and the tall as well as ankle height. I don't know the exact details but these were originally made by Converse, and just as good. Out of all the pairs I have had, none have failed me! I wear them until the tread is bald. And I have a hard time letting go of my old worn out boots. I have an old pair in my car, truck and a few in the back of my closet for back up. I have tried many other good brands, but these fit my wide size12 foot the best. I wear them everyday 12+ hours a day. I cannot recommend these boots enough, especially if you have big, wide feet.

We bought these tactical boots for my father in law. The quality and construction are solid, and they look great, but they felt very tight at the top. He wasn’t comfortable wearing them, so we decided to return them and try another pair. Pros: Solid build and durable materials Sturdy sole and well constructed Stylish tactical design Cons: A bit tight at the top, may not fit everyone comfortably Final Thoughts: These boots are well made and functional, just didn’t fit his needs. Still a solid 4 stars for quality and durability.

Comfortable. Not my first pair and won't be my last. They take a beating and still look good and feel good.

Boot was shipped quickly. Upon taking it from the packaging it felt well made. However as seen in pictures, the zipper isnt a one piece design like other side zip. The boot is harder to get on compared to 10 other brands i have owned. And the fact its not a one piece design leaves you vulnerable to debris, grass seed ect. Getting into the boot while walking, the it’s barely ankle high where the split is and there’s space for debris and even water or snow to get into your boot where the tongue sits on your feet. On top of that, the insole is thin every where except heel and theres a rubber piece on heel that doesn’t cover entire heel of insole and it’s extremely uncomfortable and would no doubt cause hotspots or blisters. I would only recommend these for a indoor setting not for outside work. And thats if you buy a different insole. If you dont need composite toe, i would highly recommend merrel moab 3. I’ve had 3 pairs now walking avg 10 miles per day in all terrain. The only downside is they aren’t good in standing water and they dont make them in composite toe. I hope this review saves some others time and aggravation. God Bless

As long as they keep making these and don't cut on the quality I'll continue to buy them. This last pair has survived for several years of abuse. Worked long shifts, hunting in rough rocky terrain. Just a great all around boot.
