Great binos for the price!!!
I have a quality pair of Leupold binosi use hunting. I wanted another pair for another hunting pack. I took a chance on these, and I have been more than pleased. While they aren't as hearty as the Leupolds, they are very good. Nice, clear glass. The focus knob would be better if it was more stiff, but otherwise these are a fantastic deal. I bought a pair for my daughter, my girlfriend, and her son. These are great for normal usage.

An Excellent Value (plus comparison to Bushnell)
I bought these as a gift and had a limited time to test them before passing them along, but I was very impressed. I already own another pair of budget binoculars, but at a slightly higher price range: the Bushnell H2O series. These are another popular model on Amazon available frequently on sale for $50, give or take. For comparison, I got the Skygenius for $13 on sale. I'm comparing these two products -- the Bushnell H2O and the Skygenius -- to tell you if it's worth the extra cash to bump up one level in price.OpticsThe Bushnell and the Skygenius are very close in optical quality in my quick testing, i.e. looking through them back to back for 5 mins. What's interesting is the Bushnell are 8x magnification and the Skygenius are 10x, but from my perspective they magnified about the same. I don't know which one is the culprit here as I don't have any other pairs to compare them against.Build QualityThe materials used in both the Bushnell and Skygenius are a rubberized texture and feel of similar quality. Both come with a canvas case and those also seem about the same quality to me. The Bushnell come with a slightly nicer strap that widens with fabric to increase comfort on your neck while the Skygenius comes with a narrow strap, but both work and get long enough for most people. The focus wheel on the Skygenius really held its own against the one on the Bushnell -- they were both great. One final note here: the Bushnell are ever slightly more compact when you close them in the case, by perhaps a 1/2 inch, if that matters to you. It's not a big deal to me though, they're both quite small.FeaturesBoth pairs allow adjustments to each eye individually. The Bushnell pair are billed as waterproof and fogproof while the Skygenius are not, but I've never tested that feature. One significant plus for the Bushnell is that you can extend or retract the eyecups, which as a glasses-wearer, comes in handy. I prefer to remove my glasses though, so for me, the Skygenius pair would be satisfactory even without this feature. What I cannot say:Anything about longevity as I only had the Skygenius pair for a day or so. They look well built and like they'd hold up fine but that's just a guess. The Bushnell pair have lasted me 2-3 years and are holding up great, for what it's worth.Bottom LineThese two binoculars are very similar in optical quality, in my opinion, despite the Skygenius binoculars being roughly 3x less expensive. If the eyecups retracting or the waterproof rating matters to you, it might be worth it to get the Bushnell pair. These two features aren't dealbreakers to me, so I think the Skygenius are an excellent value, and personally I would buy these over the Bushnell pair every time.

When using these binoculars, I recommend closing one eye to get a full picture of what you’re looking at

General use fine
Works well. Folds to a small size and fits in case with strap OK. Good price. Only issue is you need a steady hand to view objects a long distances but I believe this is true for all binoculars. I would buy again.

Good for the Price
Originally I rated these as 5 star. However, it has only been a few months and one of the magnifying pieces fell out. We found after a thorough search of our condo. We were able to place it back in since the piece fell out at home. Had it come out while we were in the outdoors it would have been long lost.

Good focus
Good for small children but adults can't use both sides at once.
