Perfect!
They fit my wide-mouth mason jars perfectly! I already have my first crop in the jar! I’ve grown sprouts of all kinds over the years, but used small flat trays with drain holes. It took up a lot of space and was rather messy at times. This is so much easier! Very useful items!Later: some have commented about the small holes. They need to be small so that the seeds don’t go through. If you pour the water SLOWLY you won’t need to take off the lid at all until you’re ready to eat! My first harvest was really bountiful even though my seeds were three years old. I thought I would use them to try out the set up. I love that they’re plastic. I’ve tried stainless, but rust always becomes an issue, no matter how they promise that it won’t. Chemistry happens. I love them! ❤️

The best lids we've used, and a comparison to our previous lids.
The media could not be loaded. We did a comparison to our previous lids bought at a local store. The lid we bought from this amazon seller is the light green lid and the locally bought lid is the dark green lid (light green on the bottom and dark green on the top).4 things we like about the light green lids we just purchased and why we like them better than our previous lids are1. because they screw on much more easily and it saves us time and effort2. because the holes are larger and it allows for better airflow to the sprouts (which means better growth because they don't go bad because of too much water)3. bigger holes make drainage quicker and more efficient (because the water can drain more quickly it saves us time and it drains more efficiently by releasing all the water so it's more consistent with successful sprouts crops that don't get ruined by too much sitting water that didn't drain)4. the spikes on the top of the lid are longer to allow for more airflow if you were to sprouts something that sat completely straight up.Overall we were very surprised at the upgrades this lid provides. We weren't even looking to upgrade the quality, we honestly thought all lids were the same basically, so we're very impressed and when we need more these will be the ones we reorder.Thank you to the seller who did an awesome job at packing the items (they were individually wrapped so there were no scratches from shipping), and the company support letter was reassuring if we were to have any trouble with the product. It was also very well put together and pleasant looking packaging which we appreciate the effort there because it feels like the seller really cares about the customers experience. So Thank You for these lids, they've made a big difference in our lives because we love to grow food so the quality these lids offer brings great value to our daily lives.

Great product!
These sprouting lids are great to use with most seeds. They were easy to clean and perfect for a quart sized jar. If you want to sprout chia seeds you must add a piece of cheese cloth until the sprout actually happen as they tend to fall out the holes. I used broccoli, alfalfa, radish and mung seeds and it turned out great!!

Great product for a good price.
These lids are great! Sturdy and super easy to clean and sanitize (I just throw them in the dishwasher). They’re very well designed. The holes are just the right size; they drain really well but the seeds don’t fall thru. The little “feet” are perfect to keep the lid off the counter so when the sprouts are almost ready I just leave it flipped over on the counter and it still lets the air circulate. We have well water which is hard on metal (everything corrodes overtime) so these won’t have that problem.

We’ve got sprouts! And a happy bird.
I wanted to start sprouting to feed my birds fresh sprouted seeds. I really didn’t know exactly what the best method was and some of the other container options just seemed like too many steps. I decided on these lids since I already had the Mason jars and 4 days later we have fresh sprouts. The lids are great because they are so convenient to use. I just followed the sprout mix directions- soaking for 12 hours and then rinsing and draining every 12 hours until my sprouts were ready. These lids drained well but to be extra cautious I would dump the sprouts into a mesh strainer to make sure I really drained as best as possible. I also washed them in the dishwasher and they were fine.I would recommend purchasing the sprout jar holders as well to keep your jars at an angle. I set the jars upside down on the lids to drain but then moved them to angled position to keep the air flow in the jar. I would think that having those holes blocked by the seeds would eventually lead to mold so I didn’t want to take that chance. Otherwise, these are great.

Way better than my old rusted "stainless steel" ones
I had originally gotten stainless steel sprouting lids that rusted within my first 2 weeks of use. These are decent quality and seem well constructed.Pros: The little nubs so that you can place them upside down and there is room for water to run out.Cons: The holes are so small that I kind of have to shake them to get the water out. I think the surface tension of the water is such that the water won't flow out on its own, I can actually place them upside down gently and the water doesn't come out at all. Only holding at an angle will the water run out.
