31" Long Handled Shoe Horn - MADE IN THE USA - Flexible Spring - Solid Wood Handle - 31 Inch Length

I've had several long shoe horns (about 20") and learned to love them. But one broke, I scanned available products, and decided to try this longer product. The reviewers are right, it's a best of class. Very well made, shipped in a remarkably sturdy mailing tube and arrived without a blemish. Just right to use standing up (ah, how often luxuries become necessities!)... I was concerned about the spring just above the horn, but it works well: stiff enough to not lose control of the horn positioning, soft enough to allow the horn to adapt to the proper angle between foot and shoe. Unless abused, it should easily last a lifetime. The eyehole at the top of the handle accepts a ring, making it easy to hang on a clothing hook on the inside of the closet door (one less loose item to clutter, or search for).A final comment on length... I'm getting old enough to appreciate not stooping. But this design is also a winner for anyone who is in a hurry.It's a pleasure to see uncomplicated products where someone has thought about, and addressed all of the elements of easy, reliable and intuitive use and convenience. This is the kind of product that would be included in a book about classic designs.

*****I just bought this shoe horn last week and LOVE it! I was skeptical at first because of the high cost over regular plastic or even wooden long shoe horns, but was convinced by the Amazon reviews. I agree with them now wholeheartedly. I also wanted to explain that the spring that people write about is just above the shoe horn part, and enables you to maneuver your shoe and foot around so that you can easily slip into the shoes. It is a really sturdy spring; in fact the whole shoe horn is very sturdy, and ends in a hook so that it can be easily stored on the wall. I will be buying another one of these for our home, because despite the expense, they are so easy to use that I don't want to struggle with others at all.Even if you don't have trouble bending over, who wants to sit down on the floor in dress clothes to struggle with their shoes? It's so easy just to slip them on with this. I'm very glad that this was invented to address a common problem.Highly recommended.*****

Looks good, well made. Only reason for 4 stars is it looks higher in quality online than actually is. Great product though and works fine. One more thing, if you have large feet/heels, this may not work for you. I have size 10 men's and it just fits comfortably.

I had high expectations for this shoe horn having owned a long handled leather shoe horn many years ago that fell apart when the leather got worn out.This works great. The strong spring really acts as your hand would as you position and maneuver the horn into place and insert your foot into your shoe. The construction is superb and well finished. The shoe horn, when not in use, now hangs proudly on a hook in our mud room.And that a superb product is manufactured in the US is a big plus too.

I love the length and the flex, but the plastic horn eventually breaks. I’ve bought 2 wooden handled versions and a golf handled version. All three versions eventually break. The horn needs to be made of a better plastic or steel.

I had a hip replacement and bending over etc is not as easy as it use to be. Got other shoe horns, all metal or wood were just were not flexible and broke two wooden handle ones. Saw this one had flexibility and gave it a try. Very happy I did. Though the horn is a little thicker than most, I am glad it is the way it is for durability purposes. The length is just right for someone who is 5' 11". Because it is flexible, no matter what angle I hold the handle, the horn flexes and foot slides in easily. It has made it easy to put on all my shoes without having to bend over. I also leave my shoes with shoe laces tied up and just slip them on now with shoe horn with ease and not have to continually tie/untie the shoe laces. I truly believe you do not need to have a hip replacement or other ailment that would behoove you to need this. It is nice not having to lift my foot up to finish sliding my shoes on. Ordered another one just to have it in two places where I put my shoes on. Why, I have work shoes stored in the garage for working outdoors. Will keep the 2nd one handy there. I highly recommend this shoe horn. I believe you will not regret it. It might not please everyone, but it did me.

I’m perfectly able to put on my shoes but I’m just incredibly lazy. I bought this long shoe horn so I could put my shoes on while standing instead of busting the backs of my shoes by jamming my feet in. I still need to readjust them a bit sometimes, but this product is perfect. After 6 1/2 years it finally broke on the actual horn part and I used it a few times a day on average. It had a little spring so you won’t bend or break it.
