My 13-year-old son wanted this knife to practice his moves so I ordered it and he couldn't be happier! It is a beautiful color, well built, safe, durable, comes with extra screws, and arrived in a day! I don't know what any of the negative reviews are about because I see complaints on the screw which obviously will shift after much use, but there are EXTRAS folks! It also has a case, little allan tool, 4 replacement screw and 2 replacement closure pins!! That's a heck of a lot of life out of a practice tool for your money. Thanks MARCOLO!😊

When this item came, the knife was just flopping around in the box. No protection or anything. It's a terrible flipper and it was dirty. It had dirt stains all over it, one handle was a darker color than the other, it was oily, it was just rubbish. I've read other reviews and it said that it came with a case. No case was added. The latch is hard to operate. I've tried cleaning the knife and it just doesn't budge. It really is just a garbage knife. I don't know if it is just my knife or if it's every knife. I'm definitely returning it.

The trainer itself wasn’t too bad, it has a really cool design, but out of the box the hinge mechanism didn’t work in one of the handles, so I had to put some WD-40 in it. Then a short while after the screws started getting loose on the hinges, now of course the company use some stupid star headed screw and didn’t include the Allen wrench to tighten them. So I had to buy one. I just really wish this product didn’t need so much extra work to be able to use. If you want a good trainer balisong I suggest you buy another.

I got this for my 11 year old boy to learn with, he has been watching youtube videos and wanted to try it out. I got him this one first so that he can practice without risking injury or property damage. It is smooth and sturdy, works just like a real one, he's been twirling it around non stop for days without issue, seems built to last.

I’m new to butterfly knives, but I do own a lot of high end folding knives. This one seems practical and solidly built for the price. The latch is spring assisted which is helpful both open and closed. It came with a torx key for adjusting the pivot tension. I won’t be returning it, but I’m still a little upset they sent me a black one instead of the blue I wanted. I think if I buy another I will look for something with rounder handles.

What I love about this product is that it is very sturdy. The weight, feel of the handle, and the over all quality of this training blade made me regret not buying this one as my first choice. I had a few training butterfly knife before but none compares to this one. Highly recommended for anyone who want to learn some cool tricks.

This product is amazing very nice and neat good design and texture I just love the colors. It spins so well and smooth. The pin is also great once it comes off it has a nice tone. The handles bouncing off each other is great too. It has such a great sound. My sons birthday is coming up and I can’t wait to give him this trainer knife and teach him all the good and cool tricks you can do with this. Very safe and no sharp edges. I guarantee that you won’t be hurt by this.

there is slight play in the handles but nothing too bad (just personally enjoy the sound when it is looser). Comes with spare hardware and an Alan key for tightening , in addition to this a case for carrying the knife.
