Rockwell 3.0 Amp Sonicrafter Oscillating Multi-Tool, with Variable Speed, Hyperlock Clamping, and Universal Blade Fit System, 31-Piece Kit with Bag – RK5121

I actually really like this tool, just cutting base boards that are about 80 year old trim...so hard wood and it does a nice job! No burning smell like I've had with other manufacturers oscillating tools, just saw dust. Quick easy blade changes, as advertised, just be sure to retighten every once in a while. Tool came with blades for scraping and grout removal, I haven't had a chance or need to use those yet...but when I do, I'll reach for this tool! I Would definitely recommend.

This tool is great, especially for the $79 price. I have never owned or used an oscillating tool before and, I don’t do a lot of projects. I needed to cut down a PVC catch basin drain riser for a yard project and also make some more drainage slits in it. This tool was easy to use and made the job quick and easy. Changing the blade is completely tool free and also easy. This model appears to be Rockwell’s entry level oscillating tool but is very capable for many household maintenance tasks.

Not sure what's going on with Newer models from Rockwell. Hower this model has proven to be trustworthy to get the job Done. My 1st one lasted about 8years still work but won't reach max speed. I tried other brands they run Loud unbalanced vibrations, blades coming loose or the unit getting to Hot under a load. Returned them All to Re-marry this old school Rockwell. The above negative issues are NOT a problem with the Rockwell sonicrafter RK5121K

This is a great tool and a great deal. I was in one of the big ticket building supply stores the other day and saw this saw for $80. Because of all the features and the fact that I have owned several similar saws in the past, I almost bought it on the spot. Then I decided to go to Amazon and see if I could get a better deal. Bingo. There it was the exact same saw for 24 dollars cheaper. The saw is great. I tried it out the very next day and it surpassed my expectations. The Hyper lock Tool-Less Blade Change is a real time saver. No more hunting for the right size allen key to change the blade. I love the fact that all other manufacturer's blades fit it. I am a handyman by trade and still have a lot of blades left over from other similar tools that no longer work. They all fit!

My old PC saw got stolen and had to wait a long time to find a replacement on sale and so far this was worth it. I loved my PC but that quick connect system of theirs was hardly quick at the end of the day when I was building my house. This one takes a little more time (barely distinguishable) but so far is much easier to use when hands are tired and sweaty and feels more secure. Good power and balance. Cutting is mostly about the blade in most circumstances and this one does well even when I leave a blade in a little too long. Haven't had it bog down or bounce around yet and all my cuts have been as straight as I like.

Item arrived very quick . I am pleased about that. Also I just plugged it in and was excited to use the scraper Tool to clean up some dry wood glue, ployeurhatin and dry paint that was stuck to my work bench ( I do alot of projects and dont bother to cover table. This tool did great ! I like it. Will keep updated .

I love this tool. Easy to change blades. Doesn't overheat. Easy to hold and control, I have arthritic hands and wrists, but no problems. Long cord. Also came with a handy and functional bag and accessory box. You know how most of the time a bag/case included is just barely big enough for the tool and no accessories?! Yep, this one is generous enough to add a few hand tools for your project too! Ok, so I'm happy with the tool. My only complaint is to get the extended 3 year warranty, you have to registered the product. No problem, however the website address is invalid and is giving me a 404 error. I even waited a week or so and tried again. No luck, so I guess I'm mailing it in and hoping for the best. 😒 **Updated to 5 stars! Called Rockwell at the toll free number and they registered the warranty over the phone. She acknowledged they were doing some updates to their website and the warranty registration was not available online. Really professional agent! Very impressed.

Only just started using this, but so far so good. Not havin to use a tool or take off my gloves to change blades is nice. Comes with a few blades and sanders to get you started, seems like practical choices. The bag opens like an old fashioned drs bag and seems pretty good. There is a nice plastic box with a lid and compartments for the blades instead of one of those moulded plastic holders that are so hard to pry stuff out of.

This was given to my son for Christmas. Don't know if he has used it yet. The item looked sturdy, and I liked the carring/storage bag, well designed.

This is a great set, and the fact that it comes in its own case is a great bonus!

Loses power randomly. Oh and a tip for using the hyper lock for those who are having trouble with the blade coming loose... You can tighten beyond where the lever will line up with the tool. Tighten to where desired then lift the lever perpendicular to the tool. The lever spins freely now so you can lock it down against the tool with the blade good and tight.
