Even though the part number 69293-12040 shows that it does not fit my car, it did. Yes, they look like cheap plastic, but it got the job done, but for how long is the question. I could not open my driver side door and had to open the back door to open the front door and got tired of doing that. So, I ordered these even though Amazon says it does not fit my car. Just replaced it today and now I can open my door from the outside. So, others with a Lexus like mine, the yellow ones will work on the driver side and I'm assuming the white ones will work on the passenger side.

These clips have a tendency to fail on Toyota vehicles. This is an aftermarket replacement for the OEM ones (my Tundra has these in the tailgate latch mechanism and the hood latch mechanism, possibly the door latch mechanism too but I haven't looked.) The fitment and durability is about the same, but they last much much longer if you reinforce them with zip-ties after installation though the pack comes with a decent amount of clips so you have plenty of replacements.

The media could not be loaded. Bingo bango, this clip is exactly what I needed to reattach my driver door’s latch rod to the outer door handle on my 05’ Camry. (Gotta emphasize OUTER door handle since the inner handle uses an entirely different assembly, for anyone browsing reviews on these DIY parts).To anyone else using these for a similar issue, ensure you push the clip into the handle loop BEFORE attaching the rod. I did it the opposite way, and I put the clip on the rod first and then attempted connecting it to the handle. It didn’t work. Clearly.Nice thing is that I have multiple clips with this pack, too; so I have backups if the other doors (or the driver one again) act up in the future.

Used for tailgate release. When tailgate is "stuck " and won't open, these are used for the fix. They are notorious for breaking as they are made of plastic. When you look inside the tailgate you will see how the release mechanism works. It's not complicated. I'm not a mechanic and was able to figure out.

While this product wasn't explicitly for Lexus SC300s, it looked like it would work so I decided to try my luck for a couple of bucks. Ended up fitting great! My door handle is working again, so I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.Install pro-tip: First put this plastic holder into the metal eyelet, THEN push the rod through. It should snap in easily and you're good to go! This is to say, don't do what I did which is attach this plastic piece to the rod first and then try to slide that assembly through the eyelet- it won't fit!

Used it to fix lift gate on my Tundra. You might have to file some of it down or really press it to make it fit. No issues after install.

FYI---This will not fit a 2006 Toyota Tundra

While the product is basically a perfect fit, the challenge was getting my large hands in a tight spot to get them in place.I found using a couple of long handled needle nose pliers did the trick. One with a loop end, the other straight tip. Both had a slight bend to them.If I could rate my car with installing this, it would be a poor rating. Thankfully, this is about the product itself, which i rate as excellent! 😁
