Good Stuff!

I bought Plasti Dip for scale hobby use and ended up using it for a Halloween costume as well. This stuff works great on all types of cloth material and foam material. With Plasti Dip I was able to create a 1/6 scale rubberized hazmat suit for a "The Last Ship" kitbash. I've also used it to create a variety of super hero and sci-fi bashes. For costume making, I used Plasti Dip and some hobby foam to make a Pilot from Titanfall and a friend of mine used the same to make a Kruger from Elysium costume. Both look spot on and I will attach pics after Halloween.

I purchased this as the base color for a modular motorcycle helmet. The helmet is matte black and at the time of purchase I liked the look of it. But, it is black and this is Florida and Spring is here and Summer is around the corner. Your noggin get's pretty hot in a black helmet in the Florida sun. So, I want to reflect sunlight off the helmet and so gun metal gray is the base. After 30 minutes the Plasti-Dip base dries and then add the metalizer of your choice. I used the Plasti-Dip Chameleon Turquoise Silver metalizer as a finish coat. The Plasti-Dip metalizer also has a clear coat like finish to it so it does shin so if you want a matte finish don't use metalizer. I used Performix 11256 Turquoise/Silver Chameleon metalizer. the color shifts from turquoise to a purple / red / magenta. pix are of the finished chin guard and of the masked main helmet. The thing about plasti-Dip is if you don't like the results, peel it off.

Still have this and haven't used it yet. I have used a black version of this and all I can say is this product works, the color is as expected and other then that it does what it is intended to do. I can't give it five stars because I wish the color was a little less bluish. So I'll have to see once I really use it, but so far I would be this product again if needed.

Purchased this on a recommendation from a friend. I am very impressed, went on very smooth and his held. My husband had large misgivings I did not want me to put it on my fenders. I did, and several days later he commented on how amazing the fenders looked and how well it stayed on even through the car wash. Love love love it!

if you wish to change the color on something withing you furnishing in particular my pro studio speaker that had cherry wood front cover lids where the speaker mount and i recently got rid of all my old brown and cherry wood furniture to a modern leather grey color and i was able to spray this material on the face which matched identical color and im able to return my speaker back to its color once im ready to by pealing it right off......so cool

This doesn’t seem to be returnable. The nozzle came disconnected and the lid was taped on at some point but also loose. It’s also $7 cheaper at Home Depot. I’ll make the best of it by using it as target practice with my .308. That’s all it’s good for.

I really like this product but due to poor adhesion to corners/edges, I deducted two stars. You can't see in my pic because you can't really see the spots it didn't work right (lower right edge and under one of the bolt holes) when installed. I did give 5 stars to the metalizer companion product, as it really added so pop to the flat gunmetal grey.
