Lenox Butterfly Meadow Orange Sulphur Accent Plate

I bought 4 of them (different pattern) for my step mother-in-law. She is a flower lover. My idea was to let her use them to eat food. I shipped directly to her house, but forgot to tell her my idea. The next time I visited her, I saw them hanging on her wall in the kitchen. They are very beautiful, otherwise she won't put them up as decoration. Originally, I wanted to purchase several pieces every year to get her a set in the course of several years. Now, I have to give up the idea because I don't want her to hang up dishes all over her house.

I have owned this set for many years and keep adding to it. It is still beautiful after so many years of daily use and everyone loves it.

Beware - if you have the original Butterfly Meadow,,these are much darker. They are okay for the extras I wanted but a bit disappointing.

Love the Lenox butterfly meadow collection! It is solid and versatile! Can't wait to buy more pieces of this china! There are several designs in both the luncheon/dinner plates.

Upgraded from Corelle Calloway pattern to the Lenox butterfly garden. These plates are gorgeous, yet simple enough for everyday use. We use this size more than the large dinner plates.

This collection is elegant

I have been picking up these series as lovely pretty pieces. I have a tea cup and saucer in this exact pattern, but I wonder if I got a fake or something when the plate arrived? Firstly, it was shipped loose in an amazon box. All my other pieces from this brand arrived in beautiful packaging, very safe for shipping. It was a wonder the plate wasn't damaged! Secondly, the image painted on the plate appears fuzzy! I'm torn about keeping it, but even my mom reached for her glasses when I showed her my new piece. The matching tea cup has the same image, however it is much more refined and clear to view. As I've said, I have several bowls, cups, saucers etc from the company, and am typically very satisfied with them and enjoy using and sharing them as friends and family come for visits. This plate: I put it at the bottom of my stack in the cupboard when it arrived yesterday. Now that I pulled it out again today to review, I'm sadly still not happy with it. And I loved it was to match bits I already have!! I'm trying to justify keeping it imagining how I could place foods on it to cover the fuzzy flower, however that defeats the purpose of getting lovely plates like this brand typically produces! *sadfaced*
