Great customer service from Phoebe! I had some issues with the camera initially, but it turns out it was completely my fault. I contacted Security Cam 2000 and they offered me a full refund and paid for shipping. I ended up fixing the issue and kept the camera and I absolutely love it. Huge upgrade from my Fatshark PilotHD!NOTE: Do not use metal hardware to mount this camera to your quadcopter!!! Use zipties - they are lighter and won't short anything out. I was getting a white screen through my goggles and I thought the camera was shot, but it turns out the metal screws I used were bridging components on the back of the board. As soon as I took the screws out, I had video.

Ok.....so I've purchased 3 sets of these camera boards - same camera/board/connections - and none have actually provided the quality of video/picture I expected. While I CAN see where I'm going while flying FPV, I must go relatively slowly to make sure Im not about to crash into something that the camera does not clearly show on my FPV screen.A bit of a disappointment.

great fpv camera.default settings are not impressive but if you go through the menus and set the white balance and exposure manually you get a much better picture.the exposure settings allow you to get a good picture in pretty dark conditions. the automatic "night mode" is pretty handy too.

This camera is excellent for FPV flying as others have said. It comes with instructions for setting the configuration up for best FPV usage. It also comes with a diode, capacitor, and ferrite core for getting the proper voltage from a 3s lipo and cleaning up the signal for transmission which is an added plus. The configuration screen is easy to navigate.Only one con, the camera has to be laid on it's side to have proper orientation. There are plans for 3d printers to build stands for this style of camera but all of them have the two "lobes" of the camera going left and right instead of up and down, making it difficult to mount in these holders.If you are using this camera with the MinimOSD setup, and you construct the LC filter included with the kit, make sure you connect a ground wire from the camera to the MinimOSD analog side. I was using the flight controller to power both the digital and analog side.

Using this for FPV on my QAV250 mini quad and it works quite well. I used about a 15 degree up angle and it is perfect so far. The connectors aren't perfect, but it's pretty good.

For a cheap board camera, this Sony PZ0420 is the bomb! Easy to assemble and hook up to my FPV system. It comes with a ferrite ring (I used it as specified in instructions), resistor and capacitor to reduce voltage down to 12volts (Did not use these). I asked and read on rcgroups.com about using a 3S lipo (12.6volts) on this 12volt camera. All responses said it handled the voltage fine, as it drops from 12.6volts down to 11.x volts in a reasonable amount of time. I made settings adjustments from posts on rcgroups.com and it really looks good!

I use this for fpv on my planes/quads. Clear picture and easy to navigate osd settings. Can switch to b&w in low light.

Good camera at a good price. Works exactly as expected.
