Cute thermometer with cord. It can be tied or left to float. Seems pretty accurate with temperature too.

It does what it says it will. I've had it in the pool for 2 weeks and parts of it are fading already. I don't really care, as long as it does the job.

The thermometer works well and is easily visible in the pool. It would be helpful if the string were made of tougher material. It drapes over the edge of the concrete, tied to a pole, and the motion of the waves gradually severs the cord.

These were inexpensive, so we got 2 of them after the glass tube holding the Mercury in our old thermometer came loose inside the canister. I took them out of the packaging, gave them a shake and threw them into the pool. I was doing some other things and checked them about an hour later and they both said 92F. My old one that has the glass tube rattling around also said 92F I would say these are accurate and a good buy!
