Great Read.
It's a great read. The anime is probably the better experience, but if you like the anime and want to experience the original work, you simply can't go wrong. There's details in the Light novel that just couldn't make it into the anime do to the shortcomings of anime production and the limitations of condensing the material into episodal format.

If you enjoyed learning about what happened to Araragi during spring break, then you'll love Nekomongatari (Black)
Where to begin? This is a "prequel" story, that still manages to keep a firm tongue-in-cheek towards the more current going-ons of our favorite characters. Taking place before Araragi's first encounter with Senjougahara, and finally detailing just what exactly went on during "Golden Week." How the heck are you supposed to fight a teenaged cat-girl running about in her underwear? Usually, I'd recommend snuggling, but this cat comes with a wicked bite. Combined with Hanekawa, and you've got a purrfectly new meowberration, and quite possibly the scariest thing Araragi has ever faced!

Purrffect
Another great addition to the series and I'm just going to say, Hanekawa is a character worthy of her own storyline.

Neko and panty-tastic
Most of the critical circumstances of this book are already explained and alluded to in Bakemonogatari part 3. But still an enjoyable ride and a nice fill between Kazumonogatari and Bakemonogatari part 1.

I love this series
What else is there to say? I love this series. Each chapter is just the main character having a conversation as the mystery unravels by the end. It's fun, Japanese, and thought-provoking. I've read every book so far and can't get enough.

Love Monogatari. Love Hanekawa. Love Neko.
Neko is my third or fourth favorite arc in the series. i really enjoy the alone time with araragi and hanekawa, it helps form them alot as characters for me and makes the last arc in bake it home for me.

Interesting Characters
Really great story, and got me hooked most of the way through.Hanekawa's character is really expanded without forcing any change in her. The pieces start to come together and all of those doubts you had about her come out. Very good character development. As usual with Nisioisin, the first 80 pages dragged on for a bit too long!

Vale a pena
