Bushy Beard Tamed.
I don’t have a long beard, so I hesitated on getting this. My beard is bushy and I struggle taming it. This definitely straightens it out. And gives it a more clean, kept look. I don’t use it every day, but when I need to dress up I use it, usual right after showering while my beard is damp. Just have to move slowly while combing with heat on high. If you have a longer beard or one that grows pretty straight, it would be a good investment. Wish battery life was longer, but I do get 3-4 sessions per charge. I travel a lot and it’s easy to pack.

Be gentle with buttons. Overall, I would recommend this company 100%.
I like this product, have used it for my beard, as it is a beard straightener but will also work for hair other than beards...put oil in beard before using... and tread lightly on the buttons. First 2 items needed replaced (buttons caved in) due to how it was soldered, was no problem n had a replacement in 2 days. Other than that, the item looks good and works great... Upon opening, everything was nicely packaged and sealed. Came with a gray pouch/sleeve with draw string to keep the straightener and charge cord in. The charge lasts about 3 to 4 uses depending on how long you brush for but will charge quickly if you have a fast charger(wall or vehicle). Item comes with charge cord but no wall adapter (i use my cell phone wall adapter)...Item has 3 bars indicating a full charge, and being used twice and down to 1 bar(3-4uses). Display came locked on °C- To switch from °C to °F press and hold the + and - simultaneously until the display switches to °F and release... Item has 2 charge ports, one micro usb and one USB. The company has very good communication reps. Other than the trouble getting a descent straightener (not defective) the company was very professional and shipping was really fast! Thank You!

Poor battery life
I had high hopes for this beard straightener, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. Right out of the box, it worked well — it heated up quickly and was easy to use. However, after just about a month of regular use, it completely stopped working.

Great product.
I use it for both regular hair and my facial hair. Works great, it does however take a bit longer to get to a full charge then stated in the specs. Totally worth the wait to use it. I can use it 4 times on one charge. Timed at about 20 mins of run time.

From Skeptic to Believer
As the title states I was super hesitant about this product itself. Could it really get hot enough to straighten my beard? I just did not really believe it could. Here is why I specifically needed it. I have a fairly long beard. Not lumberjack long but not short either. Somewhere in between. Especially during the winter when I let it grow out. Ironically even though I lost the hair on my head years and years ago (I close shave my head every other day), my beard is actually very thick. However whenever I attempted to grow my hair longer when I had it, once it reached a certain length, it would go from straight to a wispy curl. Not tight curls, a very subliminal, feathery curl. It was very 1980's and one of the reasons I never grew my hair long when I had it. Funny thing though, my beard hair does the same exact thing. What compounds the problem is I always sleep on the same side at night and never turn over. Because it already curls some since it is long, what happens is I will get what can only be referred to as "bed beard." Just like back when I had hair I would get "bed head." Same deal, just with my beard. Basically the right side of my beard curls up even more than it normally would from being flat against the pillow all night. If it is a morning I do not shower for whatever reason, it is impossible to get it looking like the other side. Even after a shower, you could still see more of a curl to the right side. Even with beard shampoo and conditioner which I use both. Basically the beard on my right side of my face always has more of a curl to thanks to sleeping only on it at night. Years ago my barber who trims my beard on occasion suggested I pick up a hair dryer to alleviate the problem. I did just that but it was just too hot on my face itself. So basically I have lived with the slight curl on the right side of my beard. It was not the end of the world as I would comb the other normal not curly side to match it, but it has always been mildly annoying. Then one day an ad popped up on Facebook for a beard comb. I believe I was Googling a new beard shampoo or something so you know how that goes. After doing some research, I decided I wanted to try one out. IT WORKS. I do have to put it all the way to 200 degrees, and when I first used it there was a smell of burning hair that was somewhat alarming, but it only lasted a few seconds and my beard adapted very quickly to it. The most important fact is, it does not burn my face like the hair dryer did. So I absolutely suggest this product. Perhaps I will update the review one day with a before and after of my bed head beard, but truth is I do not make a habit of taking pictures of my bed head beard. However I do realize that would confirm my testimony here, so we will see.

Almost great, falls short though
I like this but, I wish I liked it more. If it weren't for two curiosities, I would love this. I don't have an issue with the battery as frequent charging isn't an issue for me. My big detractors are 1) It uses micro USB for the charging port. This is significant because, everything (even including the iPhone now) uses USB-C. Every other device I have is on USB-C. So to have to have this micro USB cord for this one, single device is a very significant negative for me. It may not be an issue for others but, it's highly annoying for me. 2) In the included picture, you'll notice some of the inner (pink tipped) bristles are, for some unknown reason, lowered or recessed compared to every other bristle. This is not a continuous pattern of any sort. It's strictly these few bristles which causes an uneven flow when brushing my beard. This has caused an occasional burning feeling when used near my cheek or chin because that part is closer to my skin. Each is these issues has caused me to deduct a full star as that is the significance for me. There is a 3rd issue but, less severe than the first two. That's the button placement. Because I'm right handed and how I hold it, I have to be careful to not hit the buttons while using it. I have accidentally turned it off once and changed the temperature without realizing it in the moment on several uses. I will likely be returning this and looking for a different brand or style.

Needs better quality (Updated)
This little thing actually works really well. Just need to use slow strokes through your beard. I only use mine at 180 and just use it while I am driving to work. When you start to burn yourself, just have a look and see how many of the little red tips have fallen off. I can still use it but, just barely. Have to be really careful to not burn the crap out of myself. Once those tips start falling out, it can burn you easily. At first it was great though. After a brief discussion with the customer service department at INVJOY, my concerns were noted and addressed. They sent me a replacement unit and it seems to be functioning as it should be so far. I understand that there can sometimes be manufacturing deficiencies and/or issues. Good customer service can make up for any of that. I did fee like they offered good customer service and I needed to amend my review to reflect that. I would buy from this company again in the future with no hesitation.

Poor quality, short battery life
At first, I liked this beard straightener, but the more I used it, the more I disliked it. It's size and ease of charging are great, but that's about it. It doesn't take a crazy amount of time to charge, but the charge doesn't hold for more than 2 weeks if unused, so you have to charge again for use even if you didn't use it. As stated in the product description, you CAN NOT use while on the charger. It is supposed to go upwards of 400 F or more, but I was never able to get it past or even set it past 465 F. I could only get about 1 and a half uses out of it before it needed to be charged, so not very good considering one use is 5 minutes at most. I could have overlooked these issues since it is a fairly cheep price for what you get, but then I saw the damage to the surface (pictured) after only 3 months of use, maximum use 4 or 5 times a month, so I had to warn everyone of my experience. Unfortunately there is only a 30 day return policy, so I'm stuck with this deformed beard straightener, so am now looking at other brands.
