The Jazz has a very deep dash and corresponding shallow slopping windscreen so not good for suction cup mounts which have a habit of falling off anyway. Also the dash surface is textured and not flat. The Jazz has three cup holders, two down in the centre console and one on the far right side of the car next to the driver. This position works well with this product, see Photo. It’s a good position for Google Maps or WAZE, much better than having to look down into the console area and in addition doesn’t block your forward view. Also I would guess the phone should have good reception as it’s not shielded by the car body as it would be in the console area. As it uses a swan neck vibration can be a problem with heavier phones, and or rough roads. The gears in it are plastic so may not stand the test of time.

My car has a long dashboard so windscreen suction mounted holders tend to be too far away. However this item locks into a cup holder nicely and brings the phone closer to me and easier to use.My only grumble is that the gooseneck wobbles and moves quite a bit on the move. If it was a bit stiffer and firmer this would be a 5 star product.

It is very small and not really sticky enough to stay in place even when I have cleaned the area so that there's no dirt or grease on the surface

Did work but had to super glue the back part that holds the phone to the stand because it would stay clicked in .but it works now I glued it .

Adhesion onto some surfaces can be testing. Super glue on standby wouldn't be a bad idea.

Does a great job in my Smart car (2016, ForTwo). Given the unusual air vents and lack of flat, hard surfaces in this car, it's pretty difficult to find a good method to mount your phone. This simply works perfectly, and is very similar to the 'official' solution - which costs significantly more.It should do an equally good job on any cars with their cup holders near the front of the centre console.

I frequently travel by car for work, it's really came in handy for my car.For several pounds less than the competition and it works well. The neck is adjustable and very firm, It stays in place. There is a button on the rear of the phone holder that releases the gearing so you can remove your phone when you get out of the car.

I was expecting another Sat nav holder that would break soon, this one has been wonderful it’s right where I need it, without me having to stretch to reach it... one word “Marvellous”
