Monster H056 Hi Performance 2-in-1 Hand & Stick Bagless Vacuum with Accessories - 600-Watt Heavy-Duty Power - LIGHT & POWERFULL(VC2x600)

At first this seemed like a great vacuum. I would have given it 5 stars on the first week. I'm on day 40, I've used it maybe 6 times and it's already showing it's age. I've cleaned the filter once in that time and need to clean it again.It's not really bagless as you still have to buy replacement filters every 3 to 6 months according to the instructions for $9.00 each. Ok, they aren't in the shape of a bag but they collect dust and have to be thrown away - just like a bag. Plus, they don't last as long and are more expensive to replace than bags. In the product description, they are called "permanent filters" - there is nothing permanent about them. It comes with one "permanent" filter. You have to buy new ones in sets of two.The long tube that goes between the vacuum and the attachments is held into the vacuum by friction. At first that was fine, but now it falls out randomly when vacuuming.The motor overheats. I get about 12 minutes of vacuuming in before it shuts itself off and I have to wait 30 minutes or so while it cools down.It's loud. Louder than most vacuums. I don't know the decibels but my ears are ringing after my 12 minutes of use.The exhaust air goes straight out the back by the handle - basically, up your arm and into your face. That isn't a HEPA filter so expect to breathe in a lot of dust while you are vacuuming.

It is powerful and very convenient, although I was VERY disappointed that it did not have a motorized brush on it. In the photos it looked like it did. If I would have known that it didn't have the motorized brush, I would not have bought it. It has the one with the stationary short bristles instead.Other than that (which is quite a big disappointment) the Monster is a handy, light little vac that has a very good amount of power. Good for crevasses and window sills, etc. If you are looking for one with a motorized brush though...this one is not for you. Too bad because if it had it, I would have given it TEN stars.

I liked it at first, but the suction power seemed to decrease after few uses. It's more like I have to clean up the filter and wash it off to get a better vacuum result, and also discovered the pole used as extention for the floor and ceiling wasn't designed well. There was no clip on or lock feature to keep in on sturdy while the vacuuming, and kept falling off.

Has a powerful little motor providing adequate suction, but the unit produces a funny overheated smell which becomes quite pervasive the longer you run it...our cat knocked it over, and the button that fixes the dirt cup to the motor broke when it hit the floor, so not made of the strongest materials...no rotating brush, so don't expect superior pet hair pickup

it keeps falling out when I am using it my hand are weak they hurt a lot so its hard to put hose in the plastic end to stay in and my vac end dose not work as good as it did. the other parts are ok

I have some chronic health issues, and can't handle a regular sized vacuum, so this little monster works great for me. The only downsides I've found with it are 1. The cord really is to short, and 2. No rollers on the larger vacuum head. Other than those 2 things, it really has helped me out. And for those of you that can't seem to find that last elusive attachment...it's under the brush, just slide it off to the side and there's your fantastic little upholstery brush.

I like the vacuum but it's useless without the ability to get replacement filters for it. I ordered the H055 Hand & Stick vacuum filters from the same company that sold this vacuum and they didn't fit. I believe the the problem is there is another vacuum under the same name that doesn't have the curved handle that curves toward the front of the vacuum. The bowl attaches differently too. I contacted the seller with no reply and I've searched the web with no luck so far. If I could get filters I would be satisfied with the purchase. The attached picture is a product with the same name as this one and I think the filters they sell here are for this vacuum.

We have a area rug under our kitchen table, this vacuums strong suction picks up better then any battery operated sweeper we had used. It works well on all our all our tile and wood floors. Not recommended for nap rugs.
