Uniden BPS100 Li-Ion Battery, Replacement Battery Model# SDS100 True I/Q™ Digital Handheld Scanner

If you have a Uniden SDS-100, you know what your batteries should look like. My first order came with the battery already swelled. Figured something was odd when I had a hard time getting it out of the box. I was able to do a quick swap with Amazon and received the replacement pretty quickly.I'm rating this one with 5 stars due to how good the second battery I received is. Just like when I first received my scanner. It lasts longer than my originals. And fits better as the others have swelled a little. One was to the point I didn't feel safe with using it anymore.Glad this was available. I've been enjoying the scanner a little better now with a newer batter.

Possible Issue ...... ive heard from a few people that have purchased replacement sds100 batteries.... they tend to expand / swell over a long period of storage....not had this happen to the one i have yet.... just stating what others claim.... pretty iffy gamble on a $600 radio.... so far no issue here.

A couple of weeks ago, the original battery wouldn't stop charging, so I bought this and radio has worked flawlessly ever since. Good value for the money.

This battery performs as well as the original, this may actually have slightly longer runtime.

After a a few years, these rechargeable battery backs for the SDS100 won't hold a charge as long and you have to replace them, but it's worth it for the better battery charge/hold performance.

these are expensive ,but that's the case at every store i found

So far good battery does hold up charges good & doesn't get hot
