Cannot recharge (dry out and reuse) as claimed. You're supposed to be able to dry the bags out in an oven at 200-250 F for 0.5 to 2 hours. I tried tonight for first time and it did not go well. For one thing, based on weight, the operation was only about 40% successful even though I kept them in oven at 225 F for the full 2 hours. (Weight when new was 103-104g; when saturated, ~127g; after 2 hrs in oven, 112-113g.) Even worse, the heat caused the bag seams to split for about half the bags. The first one spilled little silica beads all over my kitchen. They bounce and are hard to recover. So, will my cats find some and eat them? I can only hope not.So the bags did what they were supposed to do -- but only once. Not good.

I throw one of these in each of my ammo cans and they're still going strong for over 3 years now. I haven't needed to recharge them since these are very overkill for a tiny ammo can.

I purchased these packets to put inside the storage bags we wrapped the beds in, to help them while they stayed in storage for over a week in the humid FL heat. They worked well. Wonder how it will be when we pull the last mattress out which will have been in storage for a longer period of time. Will have to update when we get that one opened. Overall, a good purchase and I would probably buy again for other needs.

These 100 gram packs work well and are just the right size for a larger Pelican case volume. The only drawback is that there is no easy way to tell when the desiccant packs need to be rejuvenated. There is no apparent color change noticeable through the fabric of the packets. The instructions printed on the inside zip bag imply otherwise, but I cannot detect any way to judge a color change. If there are some indicator beads mixed-in they cannot be seen through the density of the opaque packet material. I've been using the recommended 40% weight increase as a judge of saturation. This method is one of the four saturation tests recommended in the instructions. This is much less convenient than a color indication and requires a small sensitive scale. Not simple nor quick! Otherwise, the construction of the packets is substantial and should provide good long term service. The packs are shipped in a rugged outer zip bag with another substantial sealed zip bag inside that assures these are fresh and ready for use. The lack of a quick saturation indicator is the reason for the loss of one star.

Currently using this product to keep moisture out of kids baby clothes totes and bags. Time will tell on how effective they are since we have no more kids planned for the future. But our next rummage will probably be the deciding factor ;-) I looked up on google what the calculation would be for sizing the "grams" accordingly to the storage size needed the 100 gram was good for 15 cubic feet. These were very well packaged and I feel that no moisture would have gotten to these before I opened them double packaged. Instructions say you can "cook" them in the oven to remove the moisture over a given period of time but I have not yet done so.

I use these inside of a safe that holds documents and these work well to keep the inside from getting too moist and damaging the documents. Each pack lasts a fairly long time so you shouldn't have to change often unless you are using these in an unsealed container that lets in air continuously.

Perfect for the gun cabinet and my powder tote. Keeps moisture out and everything dry.

These are very handy to place in tool boxes to keep rusting from happening. Thanks foe the great product.

I put it in my camera bag and some drawers and it really does a good job.
