Heartfelt with a lesson for all ages
I had this book 40 yrs ago but it has been lost. I received & reread it today & its message is still strong. It is a good book to be read aloud, to or by any age. It can be viewed as a cautionary tale or as just a story. The illustrations and the verbage are simple and appealing as well. Highly recommended

Its a beautiful simple message of change and transformation and friendship . Worth reading and rereading, especially the ending when they serve the world.
