NICE case for kids, but poor design for charger opening
It's a great case, great look, comfortable for kids to grip.But we have never-ending problems having a charger cable STAYING IN PLACE.We use OEM and non-OEM cables and the same issues.If you want to hear 'the charger fell out' from the kids a few hundred times a day then this is your case, you will hear this phrase just when the battery hits 0%.. Otherwise go with an amazon original case.(I think the area where the cable goes is angled so there is always pressure on the cable. We had one cable that broke off the metal piece first day, a cable that we used many times without a case.)

Super durable, but DOES NOT STAND, hard for kids to hold
2 issues with this case that made us return ours:1. Case does not stand on its own. The display pic is a bit deceiving. Some kid tablet cases stand up on their own but this one does not. However, it's shown "leaning" on another tablet in the pic, so you may glance over that and buy it thinking it's a standing case but it is not. Your child will have to prop it up on something or lay it flat, which was a no go for our little guy.2. There's no built in handle. It comes with a wrist strap you can attach to one of the corners but that's not as convenient for little ones.On the plus side it's pretty durable. If neither of the aforementioned don't bother you, then you have a cheap, near-bulletproof case that will protect your tablet from your child.

it works great
the tablet has survived a number of drops. In addition there is a round finger hole (thats what I call it) on the back in the top left corner that lets you control the tablet better. I am quite happy with this purchase, and wish my wife would go for it as well.Con: wife says its too thick, and unwieldySince I am the reviewer I am keeping the 5 stars so there

If you have had one of these before...
It is the same as the ones made for smaller sizes.The main reason to buy this over other cases is that it protects the screen naturally by the thickness of the bevel.Unless your kid is Clutch Nixon or Evil Kinevil, this will hold up.The memory card port, charging port, and all other ports are accessible.I have no idea what the negative reviews are talking about when they mention difficulty charging.It is USB C for crying out loud, how do you get THAT wrong?

Not just for kids!
My nephew's have these on their Kindle's and I just saw the true durability and life this case added to their Fires. I'm sure without this case my Kindle Fire would be well past it's prime. The bright pink makes it stand out and it's pretty.

Protective Cover Makes Charging Difficult
I strongly suspect that my recent “charger/socket” failure (unable to fit charger in socket to charge my Fire Tablet) may have been influenced by difficulty encountered in trying to plug cable charger into charging socket through the deep access hole provided by this thick protective cover.

Would not go back on after the first time.
Thickness is niceDurability, made well.Was able to put on one time. Took case off and have tried dozens of time to put it back on. Does not go back on.Is there a trick to getting it back on?

Not as Rubery as it looks
I bought this protector for my kids thinking it was rubbery and from the reviews it said it was easy to hold and get a grip on. I was a bit disappointed when we opened it. It’s more of a hard plastic with a minimal feel of rubber. The back is a bit slippery but overall it is very sturdy and durable. I won’t buy again. Don’t forget to take the plastic out before installing. It looks like the plastic is part of the protector but I think it’s shipped this way so it doesn’t lose its form.
