This is one of those basic products that just works! I installed it without teflon tape & without tools in less than a minute. No leaks & the valve opens & closes flawlessly. I installed it between the showerhead arm & the hose to the showerhead. At first I tried it between the hose & the showerhead but thought having water pressure on the hose might not be a good idea & ended up preferring it at the other end of the hose since the valve added noticeable weight to the shower head in the original configuration too.There are other products offered here but I was suspicious of those valves closing completely or lasting. But this one appears so well made that I doubt it will drip in my lifetime!

Bought this to control the water pressure on a shower head that has had the flow restrictor removed. This is a high quality fitting with a very smooth, infinite control. Works much better than I expected. I'm going to buy a second one for my other shower.

Works perfectly and looks great! My existing shower head was barely providing enough water pressure to effectively rinse soap and shampoo, so I removed the internal water restrictor. I thought the inline filter I installed above would provide sufficient water control. I was wrong! The water pressure felt great for once, but I know showering like this is unnecessarily wasteful.This valve allows me to provide the perfect amount of water pressure without being wasteful. It perfectly matches the color of my existing fixtures (I chose brushed nickel). It was extremely easy to install by hand (with no leaks). I will use a wrench down the road if need. This is a great durable product with a fair price.

I have a shower that uses the type of valve that only allows you to control the temperature... the volume of water is always at maximum. Sometimes I enjoy standing in the hot water spray for an extended period, so I wanted a way to throttle back the flow after I'm done rinsing off all the soap so it's not quite as wasteful. This inline valve solves the problem pretty well. The control slider is easy to operate, and it gives you fine control over the volume, so you can quickly and precisely adjust the flow rate during your shower.The only negatives I've found are that even at its most wide open setting it can't flow as much water as the pipe it's attached to can. If you've removed the water saver in your shower head, you'll probably see a reduction in maximum flow rate if you install this valve. It's not a huge decrease, but it's noticeable. The the other slight negative is that when you have it set to restricted flow, it produces some noise. I guess the design creates a lot of turbulence when the valve is partially closed.Overall the good outweighs the bad in this valve, and I would buy it again. I like the compact size that makes it less noticeable, and the control slider is easy to operate, even if you have soapy hands. It seems to be well made with quality materials.

These have worked perfectly on my shower heads, and are very easy to use to get the exact flow you want. It helps save water and improves comfort. No complaints on quality or durability; I've had a few of these for 2 years no with no problems.

This was extremely easy to install between our handheld shower head and the hose. With good thread seal tape it doesn’t leak at all. It easily sits above the mount. It can be adjusted one handed, very smoothly. If you adjust it too quickly the water will judder, and if you restrict the flow too much there is a higher pitched sound. Neither are really issues, but some folks seemed to be confused as to the cause - physics is to blame, not the flow valve itself.We attached it to a 2.7gpm shower head, and the warm water lasts much longer now without really feeling like the flow is restricted. 3 people can shower in a row now.. I like that it can be shut off completely, great for bathing the dog without wrangling a wild shower head or fussing with the knobs.
